Makes it easier to tip the feeder over!

The splitter function works fine. Portions are about equal if the whole thing is level or tipped forward just a bit. However, they have you sit the whole feeder on the box the splitter comes in! What?! That’s so cheap. It’s so light that it makes the whole unit unstable and easy to tip over. (Happened on the first day!) I put the D battery pack inside to give it some weight, but the cardboard just isn’t stable or even and is so smooth that it can be nudged around on hardwood floors. We’re moving and most of our stuff is in storage so I had to make do with this cardboard monstrosity in hopes of deterring break-ins and movement. I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before they figure out how to mess with it though. Overall, if you’re willing to rig up a system that gives the splitter the height it needs and the whole unit some stability or even put it in something you can secure to the wall, it will work great. But if not, it’s going to disappoint.

It works...but you need to adjust the feeder chute's to get even distribution of food

Everyone is right that the distribution of food will be dramatically skewed to one bowl once you install it. it happens that way because of how the food comes out of the feeder's spinner; favoring one side of the splitter based on its momentum. I found this CAN be fixed ... take a piece of paperboard (heavyweight paper), tape it inside the feeder's chute (not the splitter chute) and with a few attempts of trial and error for the paperboard's placement in the chute you can get much closer to a 50/50 split. Not the ideal scenario but does make this a usable product.

Works well enough

Works well, portions are a little uneven. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because the splitter is too big for the device to sit normally on the ground. They just give you the box and tell you to put on top. It's a bit cheap, and the box is lightweight so the cats can push it around and knock it out of alignment so the food misses the bowl.

Works fine

Works fine, but pours most food into only one bowl and then only a small portion into the other. Also, the package requires you to sit the feeder onto the cardboard box. I can buy a nicer-looking stand, but it would have been nice if it came with the order.

The accessory does what it's supposed to, but my problem is with the entire feeder. After installing this, you're expected to place the whole feeder on top of a cardboard box because there's not enough clearance for the food to come out. The default tube on the feeder is detachable so clearly they were planning on adding accessories, so why not just make the feeder taller to begin with???

Not great

Does the work but not as good as I thought. The division of two portions is asymmetrical; left side always get more food than the right side. They should have considered the freezer operation in configuring this divider. Getting two feeders is also not a solution because the timers won’t stay correct - one would dispense earlier than the other after one day and the gap becomes longer and longer..

Very uneven

As others have mentioned, the splitter does not distribute equal servings to each bowl. About 2/3 of the food comes out the right side, and only 1/3 on the left side. So depending on your pets this could be problematic.

Convient

Il est dommage que cela ne vient pas avec un support pour sur élevé le distributeur. Aussi parfois distribue plus d'un côté que de l'autre mais sinon fonction très bien et facile à installer

It sits lower than the feeder, so you need to have the feeder elevated for this to work.

The spout works great, but have to shout out to the company, the box it's sent in saves you money by doubling as a platform for the feeder! It's meant to! It's ecologically friendly as well as financially sound. They've got a new customer for other products!!!! Searching for water dish now!
