Sturdy safe with a cheap key lock

This is a good safe. We feel secure about the items inside and feel like it would be easy to take with us in case of an evacuation emergency. When moving it, I prefer to just pick it up and carry with both forearms under it. It is heavy and the handle does not feel sturdy enough; it could be just fine, but I don't trust it. The only real complaint I have is the key lock, which is cheap and hard to open. Make a better lock and this would get 5 stars.

It is heavy and has good storage I use

I use the safe for important documents that I need to save in case of fire. It is sturdy and easy to use. The price was affordable.

Good box for the money.

Smaller than expected.

It appears that someone else had this prior to me getting it. There’s a light on the inside that wasn’t working. When I looked into the instructions it appears that someone had jammed the batteries incorrectly into the light insert. It’s working now. Some scuffs on it as well. The inside is a bit smaller than expected.

A bit of a challenge at First

I had read in the reviews that this product was difficult to lock and unlock, and I certainly experienced that initially. After three calls to customer support advising me how to resolve my issue, we were unable to get it To work, and I was advised to return. As we are in social distancing mode, I did not want to go to UPS to return this, so I asked my wife to stand on it to put the pressure that the agents were telling me was needed, and the unit locked and unlocked successfully. It seems to have released something internally and it works perfectly now. I have to say it took quite a bit of diligence and persistence But it’s working fine now.

Great safe, I wish they made them just a little bit larger

I love everything about it but the size. If it was a touch wider and longer you could put documents in folders in it. You can't do that as is. You have to put the 8.5*11 documents in loose. So you just have to stack all your different documents up.

Good buy!

Just bought this strongbox. It is as described and appears to be very sturdy. The space inside suffices to store several back up drives and letter size documents. No complaints so far.

Solid safe - doesn’t hold legal size papers

Good safe, the light is brilliant - bad pun I know but it’s extremely useful and bright. Only down side is this safe won’t fit a legal size document in it. Otherwise it’s great!
