Technically they work?

These work, but the method of installation was poorly designed. You have to be very careful when nailing these to the post because you're striking the nail directly between two protruding pieces of plastic. I absolutely smacked those little pieces of plastic a couple times, but to their credit, they didn't break. It was just a frustrating process installing these. They've held up so far with no issues.

nails were useless

The included nails kept bending. Ended up using left over deck screws and they worked great.

Only 24 per bag

Bags were labeled as containing 25, but only contained 24. Your 250 pack ends up being only a 240 pack as a result.

Not very durable

They are no the sturdiest insulators and snap easily. But they hold the tape as long as no great force is exerted (i.e. a horse).

Flimsy - belongs in the trash

So disappointed in this product. First, they were hard to install. The hole for the nail is behind another piece of plastic. How are you supposed to hammer it in without hitting the plastic? The hole is also too small for a screw, so you are forced to nail it. These also hold absolutely no tension. They'll break if there's any pressure at all. They'll also snap off if the temperature is below freezing. Absolutely ridiculous. I would have been happier if I had just burned my money.

Flimsy, easily broken, unreliable

Cheaply constructed! These break extremely easily and will not reliably secure the tape line. I already have replaced several in less than a month, not to mention how many shattered during setup.
