Easy to get into tight spaces

These airways are made for a bench grinder, but I use these mated to a Milwaukee 2888 to get into tight spaces for polishing the aluminum tanks and wheels on my stinger car hauler. I have bigger grinders with 10in wheels for the larger spaces, but these are the only ones I have found suitable for small grinders with variable speed control. I wouldn't recommend 10,000rpm but they do hold together at 6000 rpm with 4500 being it's sweet spot! I use these with a soft brown tripoli and green. Great product, but they do wear out with heavy use, so buy more than 1 because you'll want these!

Ok, I had questions regarding this wheel for polishing pontoons on a 1986 boat. Got a few answers and one was correct. This wheel along with a Tripoli bar brings the old tarnished aluminum to a close to chrome finish. It is a slow, time consuming process. The type of polishing media makes a difference so research carefully. I actually cleaned up the wife's aluminum griddle just for the hell of it and this was a mistake as she then started looking at the other cookware hanging on the rack. Lots of work, great results.

Great for polishing brass, copper and steel. Occasionally use it on wood.
