After 2 weeks of use: great job cleaning the stains and plaque on my teeth

My dentist advised me to get a water flosser. I looked at a variety of units and there were two things that attracted me to this unit: the variable pressure and the whitening tablets. I've used it every night before going to bed for two weeks. I start the pressure off at low and ramp it up to somewhere between 6-10, depending on whether I'm cleaning near my gums or higher on my teeth. It does a thorough job of flossing and cleaning. I used it for the first week without the whitening tabs. The unit did remove some of the stains, but when I started using the whitening tabs it really made a huge difference. I've tried whitening strips and other products and this hands down has done the best job at whitening my teeth after only a week. When you crank the power up it does get noisy. It can also get messy if you aren't careful - water can rebound off your teeth and shoot in all kinds of directions. The directions say to use warm water. We are on well water so I prefer to use bottled water that is at room temperature. It feels cold for the first few seconds. I'm very happy with this Waterpik and would recommend it.

It really works

One of my front teeth is an implant. Over time the other teeth discolored and the implant stayed bright. I started using this product and tablets. In less then a month my teeth were brighter and you can no longer tell which tooth is the implant. I'm a believer and use this product every day. My dentist is thrilled with the overall improvement to my dental hygiene and health.

I feel so clean!

Do you ever spend $100 on a product and really wonder if it’s hyped up to be worth the money? This Waterpik is worth the money. This flossing system is really gets in the gums and around all the teeth with a pressure you have control over. The whitening system is gentle and easy to use. It includes a 30 day supply of a minty flavored whitening tablet which is an agreeable flavor. Just to be sure I used actual floss after I used my Waterlpik and there was nothing stuck in my teeth or gums! This product is worth every penny. I love my smile. Just a tip: When you go to use the product the first time and are initially “flushing” the system, aim the wand down your sink because the full pressure will make water go everywhere if you don’t.

Excellent for deep cleaning and whitening

Don't like that they changed brush attachments so not interchangeable with original. The deep cleaning features are definitely better than the original waterpik and the in-handle application of whitening tablets was an excellent idea as opposed to running through your entire machine. It does not have a travel package which makes it nearly impossible to carry unless you check bags. My only real gripe is that the on/off button on the handle gets stuck sometimes during use and you have to turn the waterpik completely off to reduce the pressure so the start stop toggle switch works again.

Lead too short

Trying to return this item for the simple reason the lead is only 1m. Who has power right next to their sink? An extension cable is not an option.

Great product. Highly recommend.

Pushes food out of your teeth that flossing will not get. My dental hygienist was astounded with how healthy my gums were. Not sure how the whitening tablets are working just yet, but they do make your mouth taste fresh.
