Disappointing to… AMAZING OVERALL!!

The media could not be loaded. I really do not like leaving bad reviews but have to get this information out. This is my third Wahoo Roam bundle I have ordered. Let's go over the first two. The main reason the first two were returned, were the fact that the battery did not hold. The first one, full charge, went out for a 1.5 hour ride and the battery drained drastically. Like ~70%. I assumed it needed to go through a few cycles, but that wasn't the case. Luckily, I was able to get another sent out. Now with the replacement (new), charged it up fully, let sit over night (unplugged and powered off) and when I turned it on the next morning, it was dow to ~80%. Without an activity tracked on it! Okay... that's two. Try another model, which was the Bolt, but to me, I prefer the larger screen. So, I ordered a third. This one was even worse. I unpackaged it, looked like no one had touched it, but when I went to turn it on.... nothing. okay, could be a dead battery. Here I go plugging it in for over and hour, try to power on... Nothing! (Watch video) Looked on Wahoo's troubleshooting page, nothing helped. Come on!!! I don't understand. Wahoo, this is what we are selling to your customers? I do not wish to go to Garmin, but you're leaving me without a choice. Two stars because Amazon's CC worked with me through all this. UPDATE 8th of May: I decided to give Wahoo one last shot and purchased a bundle on the 27th of April and I’m updating this review on 8th of May. I did have some issues with past units (as you can read above) but I believe this time I truly got a perfect unit. I’ve put about 100+ miles on it and the battery, plus sensors and phone connected, last so long! I’m very impressed. I will say, I did have one very small issues… the heart rate battery retainer cap came broke. Many past reviews had the same issue, and I’m included (See pictures). I did reach out to Amazon, and once again… ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE. They along with Wahoo CS, we able to send me replacements within days. Excellent, excellent service I’ve ever received. Updated to 5 stars. I do recommend this Wahoo bundle to any one… just be aware that some units may come with defects or faulty units.

Way more user friendly than the Garmin. A life saver for bike packing and long distant trips.

Bought the Garmin at first and took hours just trying to sync it to my phone. Returned that and got the Wahoo. Had it set up and ready to go in minutes. Just completed a London to Paris bike trip and the Wahoo kept me on track all the time. It notified me quickly when I missed a turn or was not on track. Did not get damaged through a solid of getting rained on either. Did 4-5 hours a day and the battery never got lower than 70%. I coupled this with cycletravel.com and it works like a charm for setting routes. Just easy to use, durable and works. This made navigating the least of my problems during my trip. Worth every penny.

si es original pero no funciona

Recibi mi paquete y todo bien sin embargo al intentar encenderlo despues de completar la carga no prendio lo deje un par de horas y lo volvi a intentar sin embargo nunca funciono y es una pena porque habia escuchado cosas buenas sobre este producto, ya hice la devolucion y ya tengo mi reembolso el servicio de amazon como siempre fue excelente.

Wahoo Elemnt Roam ist jeden Cent wert!

Super Bikecomputer. Das Beste ist die lange Akkulaufzeit. Lädt auch super schnell! Bin mit der Navigation im Vergleich zum Garmin Edge 1000 mehr als zufrieden. Kann den Wahoo wirklich empfehlen!!

Excelente computadora pero pésimo medidor de frecuencia cardiaca

Excelente computadora. El único detalle es el medidor de frecuencia cardiaca. Es pésimo. Lo usé una sola vez, la tapa no selló, se metió sudor mientras estaba en uso y cuando lo retiré de la banda, la tapa se cayó al piso y se rompieron sus piezas de agarre. PÉSIMO MEDIDOR DE FRECUENCIA CARDIACA. Lo peor es que compré el kit principalmente por ese accesorio

Der bisher beste Fahrradcomputer

Ich bin mit dem ELEMNT Roam sehr zufrieden. Die Aero-Halterung ist sehr stabil und die gesamte Montage ist in ein paar Minuten erledigt. Die Einbindung der Sensoren geht kinderleicht. Lediglich der Speicher könnte größer sein, damit man die Karten mehrerer Länder gleichzeitig aufspielen kann. Das ist aber für mich nur ein kleiner Wehmutstropfen.

Increíble, los sensores funcionan bien, buena autonomía en bateria.

Los mapas en definitiva te sacan de algún apuro. La batería es grande, para rodadas largas. La pantalla se visualiza en el día incluso si la luz posterior está apagada.
