Saves trips to the barber

So I like my local barber. They do a great job blending the fades. But, they just raised the price to $40 a cut! That’s what I paid for theses clippers! I used the number 2 comb on the sides and used the number 3 comb to blend. The cut is just as good as the barber, but my blend is not as good, could see a faint line where the sides blend to the top. I’m going to call it a 90% solution to a barbers haircut because I don’t have the skills to blend with scissors like he does. Again, that is not any fault to these clippers, they are amazingly good, but a good barber uses scissors in conjunction with the clippers. So if you want clippers to use with scissors, these are just as good as the professional ones, at least short term. I still intend to periodically go to the barber for better blends and for the cut on top, but, these clippers make the trips between visits a lot longer. Definitely a smart purchase.

i LOVE these clippers

like other folks, i found the angle of the charger kinda ??? but there's a light to indicate if it's actually plugged in or not, so that's fine :) i left it charging for three days, and the light never went off, so i dont actually know how long it takes to get fully charged. after two hair cuts with no charging in-between, i did notice it seemed to need more charging, but tbh that's really not a big deal. the actual hair cutting it preformed PERFECTLY, it's so nice being able to get my hair the actual length i want, and every time..! the oil for the blades i was nervous about, but it ended up not being a big deal. all in call, i am VERY happy with this product. (originally i was mad i couldnt get just the clippers and the 2inch guard, but those ear trimmer guards for left and right ended up being a game changer haha)

so far so good

only thing I wish it had is a built-in length adjuster. My other wahl clippers (that I bought at least 5+ years ago, and Im only replacing because I dropped them and the blade bent) had a little lever at the top to adjust the length by a tiny bit. It wasn't enough to make a difference in shaving my head, but when I did my beard and wanted to leave a quarter inch of beard, it was perfect. This one doesnt have that option, so my beard is a little shorter when I shave...

Colors are helpful

The color index ON THE CLIPPERS is very useful!! My dad has a full black set and I can never find the guard I need but this makes it easy to look at the clippers and match the colored guard. ITS MY FAVORITE THING! These are easy to use and even comes with a small "how to cut hair" guide with the instructions. It comes in a handy case with 2 combs, scissors, all the guards, charger, and the oil for the blades. Definately worth the money

Perfect! I’m happy with it

These clippers arrived on time and in perfect condition, just as described. It was already charged when it arrived so I gave myself that well needed haircut. It was easy to use and the various guards attached and detached just as expected The only downside is that the bare clippers (without guard) weren’t able to give my a clean lineup as I anticipated. I’m still happy with the product overall.

Comfortable to hold ,cordless is a plus.

I picked this up after my corded model finally called it quits . It's comfortable to hold with a wide variety of length attachments. Used it a handful of times. The only reason I am taking a star off is because of battery length time. It could be a little longer. Not a deal breaker but longer life would be a benefit.

Customer Support was Good

First of all, this trimmer is awesome. It's sharp and cuts cleanly. It's everything I wanted in a clipper. Unfortunately when it arrived in it's zippered pouch one of the cutting guard tabs was broken. Amazon customer service was helpful, but couldn't send me a replacement guard. For that I had to go directly to Wahl customer service. I sent them an email along with a photo of the broken guard, and they got back to me within a day. A week later a new guard showed up in the mail to replace the broken one. No problem. It's important to know that a company will answer emails from customers that have a problem and will do the right thing to make it right. You can buy with peace of mind from Wahl. The same can't be said for so many companies out there today, especially ones that come from far away (you probably know where I'm talking about).

Almost full marks.

I’ve never cut my own hair before but I made a decent enough job of it using these clippers, and although it took me twice as long as a professional barber would take I was pleased with the end result. My only criticism is that there is no helpful guide included in the box but everything else you need is. I had to look through YouTube for tip and most of the instruction videos are far too long. I gave up on all but one of them within a few minutes because I wanted to know where to start and how to use the clippers, I didn’t need somebody repeatedly telling me that they used their particular clippers because they were their favourites, or that the numbers on the clipper guards referred to the length after the hair was cut, I got it the first time. Anyway, now I know how to use clippers to cut my own hair. It’s very easy and even a rank amateur like me managed it with ease. If your a bit older and don’t have luxuriant flowing locks and want to keep what you’ve got neat and tidy, buy these.

Average.

Average. Removed head to clean after first use and now it feels wobbly and noisy. Don't like the fact that the head doesn't adjust as it makes it more difficult to fade between each length. Comes in a nice little case.
