Sink doesn't drain sufficiently when this is in place.

I bought these to keep contacts from going down the sink. We can only leave it in the sink when actually changing contacts. The holes aren't large enough to allow the water to drain sufficiently, which is a big problem because slowly-draining sinks clog much faster. With it in place, the sink fills until the water is turned off (and we have a 0.5 gpm aerator, so it's not much water in the first place), the slow speed of draining caused a clog in less than a month and a constantly filthy sink. All that said, I still like this style better than the basket style (which has the same size holes). It is easier to clean and doesn't get nearly as gross in the first place. I've considered trying to hold this with my vice and drill the holes slightly larger, but I don't think that will work because of their proximity to one another.
