Small water bottle holder
Well made. Really liked all the features except one (the reason I bought the bag) Why advertise a water bottle holder when a small sized water bottle doesn't even fit? I returned it

JUST TOO SMALL FOR WHAT I NEEDED
I really loved the material and how it was made, but it was just way too small for what I need. It looked much larger in the pictures, but I learned my lesson and looked carefully at the measurements. I finally found a purse that will work. So sorry it was not from this company since I do like their construction.

Great Bag, Wrong Picture!
The bag is a five-star bag, but only received three because the picture of the Midnight Blue bag is of the wrong bag. The Midnight bag is NOT the "Travelon Anti-Theft Classic Tour Bag Medium", Style #42472. It is Style #42224, the "Travelon Anti-Theft Classic Travel Bag", which has the rounded corners on the front exterior compartment. Amazon did not ship the Midnight bag as pictured, which is what I was expecting. I'll use this bag since there is no time to return and reorder what I wanted, and expect it will perform very well. There is ample room for all of the travel necessities. POST-TRAVEL UPDATE: I see the picture has been updated. The is a nice travel bag, but it is deeper than I wanted. It has excellent storage options with the many pockets and sections, and organization is easy. My mini-tablet fit well in the sleeve. The adjustable strap allows for the bag to be easily worn as a cross-body, a shoulder bag or around the waist as a hip pack. The side pocket was perfect for a small travel umbrella, but was too tight for anything but the slimmest of water bottles. The credit card slots in the RFID pocket were very tight, and I ended up not using those at all. My main issue with this bag is the 'hook-and-loop" (velcro)-secured front flap. The smaller compartments are behind that flap, so any time I needed a smaller item (cash, Metro tickets, phone) I'd have to rip through the large flap to access those things. After a few days, the ripping sound and fighting with that flap grew tiresome, especially when we were in locations where we needed to be quiet (churches, museums, etc.). The rough loops on the flap also snagged several pieces of clothing. Still give it 3 stars.

Perfect in size and ready to travel
I am thrilled to report that this item was well received by myself as well as the travel companions of my Tour through Italy. It is perfect. the locks will keep anyone at bay, they are tricky, and require two hands, so there will be no pick pockets comng my way. To prepare for the trip I am wearing the bag a few days before hand, and it has been fine so far. The strap does not slip, it actually is quite comfy.... comes across the body, without any issues.... I wish they had it in a Camel color... but perhaps next time they will consider it. Lots of pockets to put things in, and for someone who loves to organize, this is a great asset. Also, a small light is included, which was a nice touch. The intertior compartment is large but will keep your netbook in place.... I was able to pack my IPAD, cell phone, camera, tissues, and a few extras along with my passport, credit cards, sunglasses and such ... really a great purchase, and peace of mind. All I hear about is the pick pockets in Rome and Naples... so I didnt want to deal with a belt that calls attention.... Hope this helps others Oh and I think someone mentioned that the velcro is tricky... they must hae revamped it, since the velcro is on the front panel in a triangle shape, keeping it away from your garments and holds the flap securely... plus there are other zippers with clever locks underneath. It is a perfect bag for those who want to travel without worrying.... Cheers!

Very secure but could be slimmer
I purchased this handbag for a trip to Europe due to my fear of pickpockets. The bag is certainly secure and It was roomy enough for everything I wanted to carry. The side pocket fit a small umbrella perfectly. I used the zippered pocket in the main section of the bag for readily available cash so I did not have to carry a wallet. The outside pocket on the "back" was just right for easily accessible items such as tissue and hand sanitizer, etc. I kept the "front side" toward my body and the outside zipper pocket there worked well for my camera. My only complaints are 1) the clasps for the zipper pulls take time to open and close; I mainly just used the one to the RFI section; 2) the velcro holding the inside pocket of the main section must be kept closed or the velcro catches on everything; 3) my major complaint is that the bag was larger than I had expected due to all of the sections. I am of small stature and the bag stuck out from my body more than I wanted even though it was not overstuffed. I wish I had purchased a bag that was slimmer in depth from front to back.

Great bag, only small issue
I love that this bag gave me so much protection. The clips to keep all of the zippers together were so helpful to me, and they deterred pick-pockets. The interior pockets were spacious and I could fit everything inside, including an umbrella, sunglasses, paperwork, make-up, hand sanitizer, and much more. All my bulky items fit! Unfortunately, the flap that is secured with velcro became a problem. It would open by itself if it got caught on my sweater or on a corner of a table. It also never seemed to close completely, and that made me nervous. I think if that had been secured any other way, I would have given this product five stars. Also, now that I have just returned from my trip, I can see that the main compartment's zipper is starting to pull out from its lining. I probably shoved too much stuff in there every day for ten days, however it would have been nice to see this bag stand up to the challenge. Again, great bag if you have a lot to travel with and organize. Four star product.

One bad apple?
I had looked at these bags in stores and liked them, but wanted one in blue. I presume mine was just a "bad apple" as the store bags did not have the same problem, but the mesh in this bag is very stiff and makes a strange lump at the bottom of the bag, it appears as either the mesh is defective or just has not been sewn into the bag correctly. Too bad, as otherwise the bag is quite nice. However, I'm now reluctant to buy another one unseen. It is hard to take a picture of something "internal", but the lump that's visible in the photo should not be there. Needless to say - I'm returning it.

This is the one
Great bag. I was a little hesitant to purchase it, given the negative reviews regarding stitching issues, but it is well laid out with more compartments and is also more secure than the other two bags I had ordered--PacSafe Citysafe CS150 Anti-Theft Cross-Body and PacSafe Metro LS200 Anti-Theft Shoulder Bag. I really wanted to like the PacSafe bags, but the positives of this bag outweighed those of the PacSafe bags. If I've made the wrong selection, I'll update my review at a later date.

Safe, small, compact and stylish
I love this handbag as it’s safe with the mesh wire inserts, and the card reader blocking. Good for small water bottle or umbrella. Love the handy handle, too. Efficiency and practical for daily use. The only negative for me personally is that the shoulder strap cannot be completely detached from the handbag.

Bad quality - will fail on you. DO NOT BUY!
I had two of these bags. On both, strap detached from the bag on the right side after 4 months of use. Customer service says it's wear & tear and not covered by warranty. DO NOT BUY. Too expensive for what you get and doesn't last. Always carry zip ties for temporary fix when it fails.
