Backpacking chair

I saw a video by a scout leader who took a crew to Philmont, and he said his son had a tripod chair that he put in his bottle holder and every time the crew stopped, he had it out in a matter of seconds. This may have been that chair. Collapses super tight, has a decent height, and has a built in strap, so no messing with an extra bag or anything. If you're looking for something to take backpacking, this really is what you need.

One of my favorite chairs for ease of use and portability

This chair (really a stool) exceeded my expectations. It is lightweight, stows easily, super portable, and works extremely well both inside and outside our RV. It is also comfortable as long as one does not have to sit on it for too too long; I’ve personally sat on it for a two hour movie just fine (although I probably did get up once or twice for a drink or snack). Sit on it too long and my tailbone can get a little sore. However, it still remains one of my favorite chairs for ease of use and portability. I’m even thinking about buying a second one for our brick & mortar home in a room where I might use it for a make-shift desk :)

Does the trick

It functions well for the reason I purchased it, but my hips are wide so it's not very comfortable for longer than about 10 minutes of sit time

Great product

I had a bad knee surgery this year and I have torn ligaments and cartilage in my knee and I can't stand or walk very long. But I had my yearly tradition paid for and no refunds. If you are one of the 160,000 people that attended the Louder Than Life Concert in Louisville Kentucky that asked where I got my stool from, this is the one I was using. It was light weight and easy to come apart to sit and put together again. I highly recommended this product if you have issues and need to sit. My leg was so swollen everyday of the festival to where I had no ankles this small seat did it's job well. I'm 5.5 and 147 pounds if that helps.

A Life Saver

My back hurts so much, that I can’t even walk around the block. I have multiple issues that cause the pain, one of which is my weight. So i need to lose weight, which of course is helped by exercising, and i want to walk more, but it’s a fearful feeling, seething off for a walk, getting a few hundred feet up the street, or the trail, then having to turn back, because of the pain. But this is absolutely a life saver, because it has taken away the fear that i won’t make it home, or back to the vehicle. Bench seats aren’t dotted around my pretty neighbourhood, so that i can suddenly rest if necessary, and so i thought I’d order some manner of portable seat. This looked lightweight, and had a carry strap, and folds easily. It’s a good price for how much relief it gives. And it has taken away my fear. When you are halfway up the street, and look back at your house, and you’re already in pain, and home looks like it’s a vast distance away, and that you’ll be in agony by the time you get back there, this little thing eases that fear. And i am eternally grateful for that.

Sturdy!!!

This is my 3rd stool. First 2 from different brands that didn’t support my weight. This stool is holding up great! I’m over 300lbs and use this at the beach and because it’s taller than other stools the height is great even when sinking into the soft sand. That makes it easier to get up and not put a lot of stress on my knees. Now I’m just hoping it holds up over time, but I’ll buy it again because it supports the weight!

Awesome little portable chair

For a little chair, this is pretty great. I bought it to throw in my bag to take on jobs where usual standing for long hours gets tiring. Works great. I wouldn't sit in it if I were 250 pounds as I'm not convinced it would hold up but for a temporary little chair, it works great. Used it when scrubbing a sticker off my grille guard when kneeling got old. It's small when folded and lightweight. You would have no notice attaching it to a hiking bag. Glad I ordered it.

Buen diseño

Muy práctico para senderismo e incluso para hacer largas filas o esperas. Me hubiera gustado que la correa que trae fuera un poco más larga pues en la que me llegó no puedo nisiquiera colgarla del hombro porque está super corta y tensa. El diseño me gusta porque sólo sueltas un lazo que trae con velcro y la abres en cuestión de segundos, y lo mismo si quieres cambiarte de lugar o guardarla es muy sencillo.
