Perfect Holster For Thermacell MR300. Holds Spare Fuel Cartridge And Mats. Clip Is Sturdy.

⁃ This holster is an important accessory for the MR300. It should be included as part of the purchase of the repeller in my opinion. It enables you place the MR300 repeller on your hip/belt while walking as without the holster, you’ll be forced to carry the MR300 repeller all over the place. ⁃ The holster has slots where you can view the amount of fuel left in the fuel cartridge and check whether the butane flame that allows the mat to function is on. ⁃ It also has a pouch for storing 1 fuel cartridge and a few mats. ⁃ The best way to use the clip that holds the holster to the repeller is to install/insert the clip to the green repeller first and then put the back holster material on. I’ve taken a picture of how the clip and the rest of the holster look like when clicked onto the MR300 repeller. Open the clip slightly, run the Velcro strip part beneath the clip and then close/release the clip. ⁃ You can also choose to apply the clip after you have inserted the cloth cover. It doesn’t fit as well though.

Nice accessory

A good companion to the Thermacell Repeller. Handy to be able to carry the fuel bottle and inserts in the case as well. The clip didn't work for me, though. I attached it to the back of my day pack and before I had taken 20 steps it fell off. I ended up moving it to the front of my pack and using the top loop through a carbiner. It bounced a bit but worked well.

Works great

Big fan of Thermacell. I camped right beside a small stream dee in the woods and you know how mosquitoes swarm out there especially when it's warm. Before I even set up camp and got a fire going I got my Thermacell going. It only took about 10 minutes for it to clear away enough mosquitos to make setting up camp barrable then another 10 - 15 minutes to almost completely keep em away.

Great case, just be patient when loading

These cases are great. The have a pocket on the inside of the top flap to load a few extra blue pads, and a pocket to add an extra fluid cylinder. It was a bit of a challenge to load the unit into the case, but once I slowed down, it was fine.

Does its job

If you have an old school style ThermaCELL, this holster can give you the option of hanging it from a belt (or the back of a chair, etc) in order to maximize the coverage area and not worry about it. It has a nice, snug fit over the unit and I like that there is a side pouch for an extra fuel cell. However, it has two major (and related) flaws that make it less user friendly than it should be. The first is that the belt clip is tricky to install. You actually have to put the holster on the unit , then install the clip. The fabric strip of the holster actually goes between the ends of the spring clip (photo 1). I also had difficulty seating the "runners" of the clip into the slots on the back of the ThermaCELL and getting it to click into place. What worked for me was putting pressure on the spring part to partially open the clip to seat the runners and start sliding the clip up, then releasing the spring to slide the clip up the last little bit and click into place. The second issue (and pic 2) is that you have to completely remove the unit from the holster to change the fuel cartridge. IMO, instead of putting a Velcro flap to cover the clip (WHY?), the manufacturer should have placed a Velcro flap on the bottom for easy access to the fuel cartridge. Although it's kind of a pain, it is not a deal breaker and I hope things will become smoother with use.

Aucune information en français mentionnant que ce produit n'était qu'un étui. On laisse croire que tu achètes un Thermocell mais en réalité ce n'est que l'étui. On informe les acheteurs que c'est le meilleur vendeur. On informe les acheteurs d'acheter en combo avec des réservoirs de rechange pour une plus grande autonomie. J'achète beaucoup sur Amazon et je fais toujours attention mais ici je l'ai échappé, moins grande vigilance, confiance au site et hop! je me suis fait avoir.

We didn't used the holster because it didn't come with the thermacell device shown on the pictures! !!! The pictures is clearly not right! The holster was returned with no problem at all from the saler. Doesn't come with the device, it's only the holster. Not like the pictures. Others sallers don't show that way, it's much more clear. Vraiment déçu car au début je croyais que s était le termacel mais non.... La publicité est trompeuse mais en plus de avoir a acheter le termacel ce cover est beaucoup trop serré et ne reste pas vraiment en place donc argent gaspiller tant qu' a moi
