Strong swing

We enjoyed that it is adjustable to lower for toddlers and adjust high for older kids.

Will work on a swing set!

I was worried about whether this would work on a swing set based on some reviews, but we are happy with it! A few notes about set up: our swing set has monkey bars that the swings hang from. We looped the hanging ropes around the beams that the monkey bars are between, so this sits perpendicular to how a regular swing would hang (no hanging hardware needed). Our swing set has hook positions for four swings, we moved two to the outer positions and centered the swurfer between the two inner positions (hanging by the beams gives more adjustability freedom too). Although it would be possible for a kid to run into the other swings (and really, other kids on swings), I don't think the collision risk is any higher than how normal swings are spaced across a swing set. My daughter likes to twist it and really go as far out as she can and has yet to have any collisions or entanglements with the other swing and bars. For sizing, the picture is of a 4'7" 10 year old girl (just under 50% on the growth chart). Her 13 year old 5'4" sister can also fit on it, but is getting near the top of what the swing set can accommodate. Although I haven't tested it on a range of kids, I suspect most kids younger than about 6 might struggle with the gross motor control needed to really use it how it's designed. We've had it up for two months of Colorado summer (intense sun), so far there's no noticeable fading and seems sturdy. Overall I think it's a great quality for the price. Although I'm sure this would be a whole different level of fun hanging high up from a huge tree, we are very happy with it on our old swing set and thought it was a great purchase.

Still unused. Look at this!

This was a present for my daughter. When she opened it I saw what I thought at first was dirt in the bag of rope and instructions. I was wrong. It looks more like whatever the ropes are coated with became caustic and burned or ate the paper instructions. My dad, a chemist, agreed that it appears acid had eaten the paper ruining the instructions. Needless to say, this is still in the box. I'm afraid that whatever is on the ropes will cause contact burns on my child's hands. I hope to find replacement ropes eventually and be able to use it.

My kids are OBSESSED!

I have a 6 and 10 year old who really had stopped playing with our swing set. I bought this and they are on it every day now! They want a second one so they can both do it! I’m so happy I bought this!

Grandkids absolutely love this!!!

I was looking for something unique to add to the backyard for my 5 & 6 yr old grandkids to play on this summer, and they absolutely LOVE this tree swing!!! They like to both stand up to "surf" on it, but I also can lower one of the handles so they can straddle the board facing the lowered handle, and ride it like a "horse". The set-up took a little work figuring out the knots, etc, and getting it up and over a high branch, but it was a fun little project that was well worth it, and they play on it for hours!!!

My kids love it

Finding the perfect tree to put this in was a little difficult for me at first, due to the way the Swurfer swings and the trees in our yard. Once I found a good spot for it, it was a breeze to install. I also purchase the tree hanging straps made by the same company, not required, but does make it easier to take down if needed. It is very sturdy and I'm not worried one bit about it breaking. It's built tough. My 2 girls, aged 6 and 8, absolutely love this thing. So much so that I'm thinking of ordering another one. They are on it for hours every day. Not only is it fun, but also is great exercise and gets them out of the house and outdoors playing. I wish I had heard of this earlier, it's so much fun and isn't expensive at all, especially after seeing the quality of the swing itself.

Kids love it!

Our boys love this swing! They may not use it the way it was designed but they still have fun. When we take it down for the winter we'll be adding clips to make it easier next year to take up and down.
