Nothing to dislike, I used these in a vise project and they worked well.

Exactly as described

I needed square nuts but not for use in bolts but for use in a welding sculpture that ... Well lets just say they had to be square nuts. Bought these the they worked good. they were a little smaller in overall size than I expected but was able to make them work.

The threaded hole is drilled at an angle

The holes in these nuts are not drilled perpendicular to the base of the nut. When I tighten the nut in a flat T-slot piece of aluminum, the nuts do not tighten flat against the metal. This makes the attached parts unsteady because the nuts lean. It is significant enough that the natural play in the threads is not enough to compensate for the error. This may be ok for softer materials, like wood, but not on metal to metal projects.

square nuts for historical accuracy

I appreciate that these hard to find square nuts still exist. I needed them for a historically accurate scale model so hex nuts would never do.

Well made, correct 12-24 threads. I ordered these to replace nuts missing from a shelf bracket. They overall diameter is too large to use.
