Love these boards but price? YIKES!

Love these boards. Last purchased in July 2020 but price has almost doubled since that time!!! Was surprised to see and would love to purchase again but won't until price gets back down. Will look for other options. :-(

I use cake boards to mount my cakes. Boards are very sturdy.

6” Gold Cake Boards with Scalloped Edges

The item is attractive with scalloped edges and a glossy gold color, which is why I purchased them. That being said, the cake boards do not compare to my other cake boards purchased from another vendor. The difference in pricing makes all the difference. These boards work nicely for my mini cakes. They are great for very light pastries. I would not use these for my minicakes as the boards are extremely lightweight in comparison to my more expensive boards. I also noticed that the gold foil tends to loosen, creating a peeling effect, once a dessert is placed on it but is not that noticeable. I do like the cosmetics of these cake boards and will continue to purchase them for my mini pastry desserts.

Received these today and it was beautiful. It reached in excellent condition

Received these today and it was beautiful. It reached in excellent condition. And it's sturdy enough to put a cake on it but not to support its full weight to move around. It's beautiful . The gold is really shiny and nice . However it's like a regular white cake board except gold. Keep that in mind :)

Wish this came in silver, but it looks great anyways. Greaseproof and looks fantastic under my cakes.
