Excellent stainless lag bolts at a good price.

Snug makes the best lag bolts because they have deep threads that are very sharp and do most of the work for you. You can insert these either using normal drills or hammer drills and I have yet to strip off the heads. But I always drill a pilot hole with a depth of 3/4 or more of the length. These are great for outdoor repair or building because of the excellent resistance of 304 stainless to water or salt damage.

Decent stainless steel screws

They do not pass the magnet test but most stainless steel fasteners do not due to other alloys included. It's really hard to tell how if and when a fastener will rust and if it will be enough or fast enough to ruin the fastener. In my experience if out in the elements they eventually show signs of rust but not enough to ruin the structure of the fastener but more the look.

great lags

so glad SNUG is selling on Amazon hate trying to find specialty Stainless items these lags are of superb quality the containers are great for storage so u can find items in the future hard to find a flaw, great value as well... highly recommended....
