Good product

I needed a sprayer to kill weeds. I went on YouTube and this was recommended so I brought it. It works as advertised. It does the job. But you have to constantly pump it for the spray to come out and that’s a little tiresome. Other than that, it works fine.

Smith Gallon Sprayer difficult to seal

Mine is really difficult to seal. It will leak at the tank mouth if you don't really crank down on it. It's plastic on plastic, so I don't know how long it will last if I have to twist the handle hard to get it to seal. We'll see. I like the features and looks well made

Works well

Nice sprayer. I use it for home pest extermination around the perimeter of my home. I like that it has a tray that catches any drips when you replace the wand. The only negative is that there are a number of spray nozzles and they didnt design the sprayer to have a place to store them. so Zip Lock and try not to forget where I put them.

Well built with multiple spraying heads

This is a world above your run of the mill sprayer that costs less but doesn’t last more than a season - if you’re lucky. I first bought the Chapin for Bleach. I bought the same model at least four years ago and it’s going strong. Left it at my son’s house for him to use so ordered another one. The same model i bought a few months ago is kaput. After less than two months it’s decided it won’t build any pressure. The DB Smith one’s quality construction and materials are apparent the moment you unbox it. To start off, it’s much heavier. It also comes with easily switchable multiple spraying options, three out of four made of brass. It builds good pressure with very little effort and has a pressure release valve, as well. Pay the extra money and buy it. You’ll be buying multiple of the less expensive versions .

Simple and easy to use.

The sprayer is simple and easy to use. The nozzle that is initially attached is the focus nozzle. Replacing the nozzle for a wide spread was easy.

Head and shoulders above the cheaper sprayers.

I tried an ITISLL portable pump sprayer, which was poorly made and started sputtering after only two uses (and yes, I tried everything the manual recommended to fix it). So I returned the wasted product and upgraded to this one. You can tell as soon as you start assembling this that the quality is high, and it works smoothly and consistently. I recommend not wasting your time with the super cheap portable sprayers and get one that's actually still very affordable but is actually made well. Note: There is no "fine mist" nozzle for it. You will need to order that separately from D.B. Smith if you need a very fine mist. It was a bit of a drag to have to do that, but considering this sprayer will last for years I decided to go for it.

Quality product

This is my 2nd purchase of the D.B. Smith Smith Contractor 190504 Sprayer. It is extremely well-made product with multiple attachments for different needs, and the best of all, it's made in the USA.
