Good for its purpose

As a customer of sklz in the past, I saw these on sale and thought it would be a good purchase. I assumed they would be a bit bigger than they are, but when I use them I see why they are the size they are. The reason I picked 4 instead of 5 stars is because they are an unnecessary product for those who are looking to save money. I bought them when they were on sale, because I need to use my fingers more to catch, but anyone cause just look up drills to help fix that if they don’t want to spend the money for these.

They Work

They work. I've been training a couple of teenagers with these and they've all significantly improved on their catching, but more importantly, they're now much more aware of how they're catching the ball. It's such a small adjustment that's changing their games immensely. Love to see it.

great tool for receivers

My son now has the best hands on the team with just a few months of use. For anyone serious about catching footballs, these are a must. They teach receivers not only to catch with your hands, but actually with your fingers and improve finger and hand strength. The best part is that is works automatically... no special instruction needed. It is very simple and foolproof... if you use them regularly, you WILL learn how to properly catch the ball. It is difficult to catch with them in the beginning and it is supposed to be. Stick with it, you'll get used to it, but most importantly, you don't have to catch every ball thrown to you with these on in order for you to develop the proper catching technique. It's the repetition and effort that makes the difference. Soft tosses to begin with then harder as the skill level improves. My son started when he was 12, so don't worry about size - one size works for all.

Very cheaply made

Item fits well and I guess is ok fora young kid but not for an older football player. Small and made of cheap straps and ball.

If you play drop, more than catch

My boy loves them. Playing catch with him, was more like playing drop. With my rotator cuff, there are only somany times you can pump one in there without frustrated with the drops. He is better with it and going for TE next season, which is huge on a Wing T team. Hopefully in fall they help him transition from DE. THANK YOU!

my 10 year old has a review for these on youtube

These have been great for my son. He is a ten year old in junior tackle football. He is a slot receiver and these have really helped him work on "soft hands" and catching with his fingers. They are just slightly big for him but he has a workaround for that that he shows in his youtube review video. Also not too worried as he will grow into them more. I wish they were adjustable though, and that is why i only gave 4 stars. for lots more detail check out my sons review of these on youtube. just search for sports4life sklz great catch.
