Best so far

I have used red warming bulbs for the chicks in the past, but no more now that I discovered there ceramic ones, The are so easy and reliable to maintain the correct temps.

Not sure.

Got this today. Turned it on and it started to heat up but smelt like it was burning and started making weird popping noises. Maybe that's normal for first few hours. ????‍♀️

Great heater

I used these to heat my outdoor kennels during the winter. The dogs stayed toasty and they made it all winter. These are worth the money a great value

Needed heat but not light.

These are excellent for brooding chickens. They don't truly quiet down and sleep unless it's dark. This allows you to heat the roost but makes no light.

Poor Packaging

This is the second year I’m going to use these UV lamps for an enclosed exterior application. Helps that they come in pairs because last year I went through two of them, on average they work continuously for about three months each before they burn out. They arrived chipped both times, as it appears the recessed bottom padding in the box is insufficient to keep them intact during deliveries and I see this in other reviews as well. I write this off as seasonal expense but would be nice if they lasted longer than a few months in our cold NE climate. I will research temperature control means to see if that can help during occasional daytime warmings, to see if that can prolong the life of these bulbs by limiting any overheating (which should be built-in in this type of device for safety). US/ Canada users also note that these are not UL listed.

Ceramic Heat lamp

Great for keeping baby chicks warm, but they're prone to go to light, not just the heat. However, you still must have a light bulb for the chicks to go to the heat.

Not very warm

No light emitted at all, and not much heat either. Could be used as like a heating plate I guess. Maybe if it was more than just 100 watts it would be better. I can barely feel the heat below the lamp holder.

Nice and hot!

Purchased this to replace the night heat lamp for our beardie. Hoping this is more energy efficient. The bulbs arrived nicely packaged with foam for protection. They measure about 3" in diameter and about 4" long. Tried both bulbs out since some reported damage upon arrival and both worked great. Measured the temperature and showed in the 400F range on the surface.

Excellente source de chaleur dans notre petit refuge pour Opossum & cie

Cabane extérieure. Je suis par contre déçue d’avoir fait 2 tentatives pour en livrer dans un refuge pour animaux à Sté-Béatrix sans succès malgré qu’ils aient déjà reçu des commandes par Amazon dans le passé.

No tan caliente

El producto se ve de muy buena calidad, pero el calor es demasiado poco Pará el habitad de mis erizos que es un poco alto el calor no llega hasta ellos, diría que el calor solo da no mas de 30 cm

Gallinas felices

La mejor compra para mi gallinero en casa! Las gallinas se congelaban en las noches, hasta habían dejado de poner huevos. Con estos focos pueden descansar en las noches de invierno sin luces de colores que las vuelvan locas, y están calientitas. Volvieron a poner huevos y no subió el costo de la electricidad. Precio - calidad - resultados --> Vale cada peso!

Llegaron muy bien. El embalaje es bueno. Llega en una caja los dos focos cerámicos. El precio me llegó de oferta: excelente. Ambos cerámicos son de 100w Esperaré a usarlos para ver su durabilidad. Los tengo de reserva por el momento.
