Straw packaging

I purchased this box to use as a gift for a magnum bottle. The box itself is fine for the price. The wine fits very well. I also purchased this product because the description said there would be straw included to nestle the wine in the box. Well my idea of straw was very different from what I received. I pictured strands of straw , similar to raffia.. What I got was a lump of sawdust which proceeded to drop out of the box and well, my vacuum got a workout. A quick trip to a craft store took care of the issue. I'd rather there had been no filler included. So four star instead of five because of the sawdust......and not straw

Love this box!!!

This box was a perfect addition to the gift I made for my daughters teacher after to looking and buying boxes that said a champagne bottle would fit I almost gave up but so glad I ordered this box!! If your thinking abt it just get it!!!

Came to late, bought a better one for 10$ at Joanne fabrics

The media could not be loaded. Needed for an oversized, large wine bottle, possibly the size for a champagne bottle. This box definitely does the trick. It came 2 days too late ordered with prime said it would be here next day never received As I panicked because I have to ship a birthday gift, I went to Joann fabrics and got this same size box that definitely fits larger liquor bottles, but the moss separate 16.99 google the coupon, got it for 10 bucks has a slider and a holder for the bottle. It is the exact same measurements as this box in the listing. Hope the video helps. Makes it such a cute gift idea with the drink me letters on the slider of the box and the rope handle save your money. This box is more durable from Joann fabrics and you’re guaranteed to have it in your frame time. Took a photo of them side by side. Amazon box is plain on right side. Hope this helps someone in a quick pinch to run to fabric store.

The only box I found tall enough for the whiskey bottle gift I was giving.

I was looking for a nice gift box for a bottle of whiskey I was giving to a friend - High West Double Rye - which is a particularly tall bottle and thus way too tall for every other box I was finding. Then I found this. Such a PERFECT fit, and also totally a 'blank slate' that I could customize with my own finish. Love it!

Basic and does the trick

This is a basic wine box. Nothing fancy, but it is nice. I used it to gift a nice wine I bought for my bf. I would buy it again. Just use caution when opening the box. There is saw dust everywhere. It was all over my clothes and table. I would recommend opening it outside and dusting it off.

Plain and simple

This is as basic as it gets. I bought this for my husband and I to store a bottle of wine for our anniversary. I originally planned on having it etched/painted, but I ended up just leaving it as-is. It is exactly as described - a pine box with a slide-out lid that fits one bottle of wine. I would recommend getting something else to put in the box to cradle the wine better - I put some raffia in mine as filler, but some cloth or tissue paper would work as well. The box will definitely hold up to etching or decorating if that's what you plan on doing. It's perfect for a wedding wine ceremony, but I wouldn't consider buying this as a gift for anyone - it's too plan, and it's meant for wine storage, not presentation. Please remember once you have added your wine bottle to keep this stored HORIZONTALLY and not vertically. This will keep your wine fresh.

Nice little boxes.

Nice boxes. I needEd that size box for my cabinet wine holder slots. It’s very hard to find nice reasonably priced boxes this size. They couldn't have hardware or anything on outside or they wouldn’t fit in the slot. These are very plain, balsa wood boxes for single wine bottle. They fit in the slot perfectly and the easy slide lid will make they nice for storage. I hope I can paint or stain them easily.

Too little inside material to protect bottle

Dislike the price. Too high for the type of wood used. Low wood quality.

Shoddy item, exorbitant price

The media could not be loaded. Extremely bad product, as you can see from the pictures there's no relation to the advertised item with what I received. The box is supposed to have a sliding door, but the wood is warped / curved, so forget closing the lid. The bottom also is extremely thin, put a little pressure and you can break through easily with just your fingers. There is a handle made from jute which again is not in the advertised pictures. Would not recommend this product, first because how shoddy it is and second because the seller cannot be trusted when you see what he's advertised versus the pictures I posted. The worst part is, the price they have been charging for this pathetic product.

The fill that it comes with is a bit messy. I used my own paper fill.

I bought 3 of these and they were perfect for my needs. One of the sliding lids didn’t move as smooth so I used some sandpaper and it worked fine after.

Wine box

I was unhappy with the slide on lid cheaper than the rest of the box like MDF, also no good for pyrography burning seemed like it had a thin layer of oil or wax on it

Great Product

I used the box to put a bottle of whiskey (750ml) in which was engraved for our one year anniversary. I also bought an engraving gun for wood and engraved the wooden box. It turned out really good being my first time using a wood engraving gun.
