Easy to install felt like new

So awesome and comfortable! Well designed!

This seat is so well designed and so comfortable! I was about to buy an electric bicycle because I hurt my knee. We already had this scooter, which was now extra since boyfriend upgraded. Scooter has mad far range, so when I saw this ad-on seat I thought it was worth a try. I watched installation video from YouTube and so simple to install, and so versatile. You can fold the seat back like in my second picture so you can still stand up. You can fold the seat back down (while riding) so you get the cushy comfort of the bouncy seat. it has so much built in shock absorbers! And then you can even fold the entire seat down so you can fold scooter to carry it or store it. It was worth every penny! I don’t have to buy an electric bicycle now while my knee is recovering, and I will continue to use it forever. I never really liked standing on the scooter because I’m used to bicycles, so I feel so much safer sitting on the seat, and the scooter has great maneuverability while sitting. THANK YOU NINEBOT.

Good Idea, but Falls Short

It looks really nice and it comes in a very good protective box. It matches my Ninebot MAX colors and textures. It puts me in a good riding position (5 foot 9). But, I was really disappointed at how the seat mount was attached to the floor plate of the scooter. I would have thought there would have been an integrated system, vs this "after thought" design. The seat itself is made with a very soft foam that compresses significantly even with a 130 pound person thereby reducing any shock absorbing value. When a 180 pound person sits on it, it has little absorbing value at all. The shock post is a complete joke! It completely flattens out with even a 130 pound person and as such, has no shock absorbing value. Remember, this scooter is rated for 220 pounds. I would think the accessory seat would be too. Furthermore, as the shock post is compressing, a grinding noise can be felt and heard. It's as if there is gravel in the seat post shock mechanism. In other words, the seat post shock is for looks and marketing value only. For the price of $119, you get just a seat, a seat post, and a mount. Entire bicycles can be had for that price. It is not a good value. I was really disappointed that the accessory seat Segway sells for this really nice scooter (I have the Ninebot MAX) was such a fail. If you only weigh a 100 pounds, then you will probably be happy. Maybe mine was just defective...? But I have nothing to compare it to.

Okay if not fat like me.

I got this seat for my Max scooter. Being 6’7 with arthritis in my knees I found it hard to stand on the scooter. It lasted around two months. I don’t know if it was my weight. I am 225 lbs. I also put a bike rack on it for small things. I was riding home one night and hit a pothole. The way my weight hit the seat bent the thing. Before that it was fine other than the quick release bolt holding the seat to the height. I had to swap out a regular bolt so the seat sets where I wanted it. My girlfriend got me a new one and it works the same as the last. I am just going to avoid grocery runs with it. Nothing much over my weight this time. I hope it will last longer this time than two months. Only other thing I wish I could do is swap the saddle. I think I have to replace the post with a standard bike post and saddle.

So simple to fit and easy to use

Anxiously waiting for the government to stop dithering and legalise these things. I'm 73 and had mine for over a year gathering dust. A saddle is a useful addition to take the weight off whilst riding or stationary. Made to measure, easy to fit in seconds and sorting loaded for comfort. A safer way to ride too
