A great way to take my little buddy on rides with me

This was so easy to assemble - less than 15 minutes out of the box we were ready to go! I was afraid that my little buddy Sam (15lb Shi-poo) would try to scratch his way out of the trailer, but he just sits there like a proper boy and enjoys the scenery. I have heard many people comment "oh look he's pulling his dog with him" so I know people think it's pretty cool. It is easy to pull and does not in any way affect my bike riding experience. It takes corners well and on the occasions when Sam does bark at another dog on the trail, his movement in the trailer does not throw me off balance or affect my ride.

Not Safe - Flips on turns

I was moderately nervous because it is designed differently than my kids bike trailers which have a different connection system to prevent flipping. However, I purchased it anyways because animals are lighter and not going to be as mobile. However, unless you bike like a decrepit grandma taking farmer turns ( super wide), it WILL flip. The wheels come up on 90 degree turns. I'm biking with small kids on their bikes. We are not going crazy or fast, because the trailer takes any bumps in sidewalks, transitions from driveways to sidewalks or a reflector on the road HARD. Imagine a crappy old truck mobbing in a field with zero shocks and no cushions on the seats. That is what your pet is riding on. This piece of unsafe, uncomfortable crap lasted 3 days with a 19 lb puppy.

Perfect size.

My boy loves cruising in it. Love that it has three windows. Only thing I would of preferred was two zippers on the front opening so his head could stick out. Other than that satisfied and would recommend to others.

Works great for a small dog (17 LBS)

I use this to take my dog to a dog park about two miles from my house - through a community park with big sidewalks. Anyway, it works great... and it definitely intensifies the work out for me! If you are planning on using this - you need to realize while it is not hard to attach and remove from a bike with a "quick release" wheel, it is probably more trouble than you will want to deal with on a regular basis. In other words - if you don't have a place to park this thing while attached to your bike - you probably don't want it. If you don't have a quick release wheel you definitely don't want it. Also, know that it requires a significant increase in effort to bike with this and a dog... so you'll probably need to work your distance up over time. As far as how well it works once it's attached - it works great. No issues at all.

High quality but kind of a pain

The cart is obviously high quality and its fun to ride around with my pup. My only real complaint is that the pins that hold it together are really strong, making them hard to remove (and thus hard to fold/assemble). Its hard enough that my wife cannot do it without my assistance. If you have arthritis or similar hand issues this product might not be right for you.

Did well on trails

Try the front entry approach for taller dogs. Did well on fairly straight and mostly flat multi-use trail. You will get a workout with heavy dogs.

It works!

You can take your dogs, it's easy to assemble. On the bike side, you need a bit of minor elbow grease and some basic familiarity with bicycles, but you can always take it to a bike shop and have them put on the attachment in less than a minute (it's super easy). It works fine for doggies. One of our dogs didn't like it so much, the other was indifferent.

Large or small?

If you have a small dog and are trying to decide which to get, keep these points in mind! - 20lb dog can barely stand up in the small - Extra room in Large is good for bringing items like air pump or picnic basket. - Large comes with 2 mesh storage bags inside - Large has smoother, higher quality tires. You can feel the difference. Makes up for being 10lbs heavier and then some.

Its is just ok... (read below)

My dog is on the large end of the recommended size. Needless to say any dog bigger than 18 inches at the shoulder will find it confining. Be aware that it is not designed to fit newer (not department store) bikes. My bike uses thru-axles & disc brakes, not quick releases. Therefore the attachment bracket does not work. If you have disc brakes, the bracket may interfere with the caliper or disc. It is heavy, so be aware of the handling differences it will cause to the bike. Thankfully I was able to re-sell it and only lose $10 off my purchase price. As long as you heed my warnings about bike fitment and dog size, this should work well.

Not really designed well for dogs

The trailer overall looks solid, it attaches well to the bike, the frame is great, the wheels are great. But this is where you can tell it was made by Scwhinn, and not a pet-specialist company. It is simply not designed to carry dogs. First off, based on the pictures I assumed the whole front zipper section would have 2 zippers so you could zip down just the top, to let your dog sit upright, but still have a bit of a safety net in front. Wrong, there is one zipper, effectively making it either on or off. I am not comfortable biking at speed with this thing off, with my bike tires around 1ft from the edge of this. But most importantly, the material is simply _not_ dog-ready. My dog was doing fine for the first portion of the ride, but when we stopped for the first time, he pawed at the front screen and it immediately tore. This tear was quickly made bigger by him poking around. I couldn't imagine trusting this trailer to keep my dog safe as I bike at any sort of speed. But if you need a trailer to carry a 60 pack of beers, this one's perfect.

Esta increiblemente bonito y a un super precio!

The media could not be loaded. Nunca creimos que fuera a estar tan bonito y de tan buena calidad. El remolque lo compramos para nuestro pug que pesa 9 kg y por sus dimensiones y peso, le quedó perfecto y ahora nos acompaña encantado a nuestros paseos en bici. El remolque trae puerta trasera para que aprenda a subirse y bajarse, así como una correa anclada a la estructura para que lo amarres de su pechera y evites el riesgo de que pueda caerse o echarse a correr. También tienes la opción de llevar la ventana cerrada (con un plástico transparente), abierta (con mosquitero, como se ve en el video) o completamente descubierta. El sistema de anclaje le queda a cualquier bicicleta y trae doble seguro en caso de que este llegara a fallar y no se suelte el remolque en el camino. El piso del remolque trae goma gruesa (muy dificil de rasgar) y antiderrapante, pero encima le coloqué una colchoneta para que el princeso vaya más cómodo. Una vez que lo terminas de usar, el remolque se desarma muy fácil y se pliega sin herramientas para que lo puedas almacenar sin ocupar mucho espacio.
