Simple, beautiful and reliable

If you would like to update your home with a more attractive and modern, yet classic entry-this set fits the bill. When paired with the matching keypad electronic keyless deadbolt, you will have a very reliable and secure combination. I bought two handle sets for my double entry doors with glass inserts. One set acts as a dummy for appearance purposes.

Beautiful Combo

This handle is really pretty. I really prefer having a handle over a knob for our front door. This is very sturdy, easy to install and looks so great! So happy we purchased it!

NOT IT

I’ve bought a few of these locks and although the concept is good with app. It’s NOT EFFICIENT. I use this on my Airbnb’s and the app frequently displays inaccurate data. Jammed, door open when locked etc. Also this is a BATTERY KILLER! I’ve changed so many batteries since Nov. Lastly now the lock is offline and will not come back on. Horrible.

Waiting for replacement parts stinks

When I finally received working hardware, the finished product works great and looks nice. However I really don’t like the capped bolt sticking through the door at the bottom of the handle. (See photo) The latch in the first Handle I was sent would stick open and not latch the door. Schlage support didn’t seem to be familiar with what a door handle is but without too much trouble sent a “new” unit (which had clearly been rummaged through but was all there including a deadbolt I didn’t want or need). The replacement took about two weeks to deliver (I was quoted 7 days). I had issues with the matching keypad deadbolt I purchased separately too. A cable bundle in it was broken. That time Schlage customer support took about a half hour to take my call. By the time I spoke with support I’d already gotten bored with waiting and complete an amazon return. (I’d recommend going straight to amazon and skip calling Schlage) I also recommend buying an installation jig kit, I used a ryobi kit but Milwaukee and Dewalt also make kits.

Came assembled wrong!

I really hate giving this handle a bad review but mine came assembled wrong. The inside knob had the spring installed in the wrong place (between the screw posts rather than outside the post) and wouldn't turn. Unfortunately by the time I realized it I had the holes drilled in the door and needed to install a handle. So I used a couple hours and took it apart and repaired it myself. Pain in the butt. It does look nice and seems to be a quality product but quality control during manufacturing might be questionable.
