Does The Job
Good for filling deep breaks on our patio slab before caulking with concrete crack repair caulking.

Works with no issues
I had a gap between my baseboard and bathroom vanity that I didn't feel comfortable with just simply filling with caulk. I stuffed some of the backer rod in and used DAP DYNAFLEX 230 in white. No problems at all. I do like that this is only 20 feet since I'm planning on only using it for small jobs. The smallest length at my local Home Depot is 100 feet and that's way too much for me.

This is as good as any other backer rod I've purchased at hardware ...
I ripped out the caulk applied by the previous owner of my house, who must've emptied about 3 entire tubes of caulk into the gaps. Backer rod is a much cheaper, and easier alternative. This is as good as any other backer rod I've purchased at hardware stores. Lately, it's been very difficult to find any backer rod in area hardware stores, and staff at the stores didn't even know what it was, so Amazon to the rescue!

very tough material
I ran out of this backer material and bought some other brand at local hardware. It did not hold up at all, meaning that when I was pushing it into tight cracks, it would not go down completely, but rather split and break up. The Sashco never did that once. Has tough outer skin and allows you to work it into tight spots with putty knife!! Good product.

I used it to help seal my porch ...It was easy to use.....and it should work out to keep the porch warmer .

So far so good – I'd recommend this product
I used this product to help fill 3/8" holes drilled into bluestone and concrete. Since the holes were deep (6-10"), I first inserted this filler rope backer rod into the holes and then topped them up with 3/4"-1" of Vulkem polyurethane caulk. Since using this product 3 weeks ago there has been no shrinkage. So far so good – I'd recommend this product.
