One of the handiest household tools ever created

I received my first “reacher” when I was in rehab a couple of years ago and used it so much I wore out the grippy tip and it would no longer pick things up. I ordered a replacement last year and also thought I would like to have one about 29” long to extend my reach. However, since I am now in a wheelchair full time, the longer length is a detriment in most situations. The 26” length is perfectly fine for most of my needs. For a general purpose household reacher/grabber the longer length might be very useful out in the garage or in the work shop or the laundry or way back underneath the bed or the couch… Try one, you’ll love it.

Reach for the stars

I am an Occupational Therapist and have taught clients/ patients to use long handled teachers for years. The past few years, I have developed a mobility impairment and now use a reacher myself. This reacher is well constructed of metal. There's a magnet on the end that is useful for picking up lightweight metal items, such as scissors, barrettes, nail clippers...the trigger mechanism works on a string pulley. The heaviest thing I lift with this reacher is a full 12 water bottle. I use mine until they wear out ( 1 yr or more). It putse back in control and is very handy.

I am recovering from a T9-pelvis spinal fusion for scoliosis. I cannot bend, twist, or lift more than 8 lbs. My life is totally dependent on reachers. I have paid so much money for reachers that have become useless! This reacher is sturdy metal. It will not bend and it can grasp and pick up things like I wish every reacher could. I use a reacher about 15+ times daily, and this brand is my preference. This reacher is my arm. If you are purchasing a reacher for occasional use, spend the money. It is the best/

Great design. Easy to use

I purchased this after using a longer one in the hospital after a surgery. Since I am shorter side I decided to purchase the 26inch grasper. It is helpful and has many uses. I have used it as an assistive device for getting dressed as well as reaching for items. I can pick up small pieces of trash or even used it to pick up larger/heavier items such as a can of soup. It is well made and I will continue to use it after I have recovered from surgery. It will probably be used to get clothing out of the washer and dryer that I could not easily reach without a grabber. I may end up purchasing a longer one as well.

Awesome item

I used one like it in physical therapy. I’m in a wheelchair and it goes wherever I go all day. I have parkinsons and my balance is bad so I drop lots of things With this grabber I can pick up items withiasking forchelp

Works good

I actually went with this brand because this is what they used in the hospital so obviously it stands up to some abuse. And a neat feature is it has a magnetic tip so you can pick up hard to grab metal items.

Best grabber

I’ve used grabbers since my first hip replacement 28 years ago. I’ve had many since, but this is the best one I’ve ever had. It’s a good length, and solid. Who needs a foldable grabber for every day home use. I’ve had 2 that broke at the the foldable section. I will buy again, and recommend to anyone.

Just what I was looking for

I bought this as a replacement. Accidentally broke the cord that closes the claw at the end of the reacher when the trigger is pulled. Arrived quickly and is as described by the seller.
