Great for food separation - don’t microwave!

I liked everything about this except the fact that it is made with melamine. Microwaving causes extra estrogen to leach into the food with melamine. My fault I didn’t pay attention to substance used to make it.

I purchased this for my blind grandmother

I am very pleased with this plate. My grandmother is almost completely blind, and so has a hard time chasing her food around on a dinner plate. Grandmother has always had impeccable table manors. Unfortunately, eating had became difficult, and very embarrassing for her. When she finally said she wanted to eat alone, it broke my heart. I found this plate, and was worried that she would reject it, but in fact she was very pleased! It is durable (yes, it's been dropped a few times!). The sections are large enough to actually hold a decent amount of food. It is easy to clean in the fact that not much sticks to it, but with the sharp corners and vertical sides it can be a chore to get into the corners. (the vertical sides are necessary for this dish to work properly, so I find it worth the tiny amount of work.) I do wish that the dish came in a darker color, only because for my grandmother it would be easier to see her food on the contrasting background. All in all, this is a great dish for our needs, and will be purchasing one or two more. I highly recommend this for anyone with low vision!

surprise, surprise !

I was so nicely surprised when i opened this divided plate .it has the weight of my everyday white porcelain plates - This is the first time I ordered a divided plate of any kind and I checked out all of them that Amazon had to offer on their site - I finally decided on this one but not being sure it would fill the bill for my sick hubby ! well, it is awesome ! the food wells (as I call them are nice and deep -love them as a roast beef and gravy dinner doesn't overflow and run into the next well of food -Also the place is big enough for a hearty eater -can't say enough good things about it ! it is a winner for my hubbies needs !

Great for picky eaters

Very handy for me as a picky eater, don't want everything touching. Plus it's deep enough that when I'm eating on a couch or bed it's less likely messes are made or food mixing

Great

These plates are perfect for pureed foods for self-feeding clients due to the high sides. It is easier to get a spoonful. They also help with portion sizes.

too small - not for adults

Description noted for disabled adults, but the size is for a toddler. Quality is good - five star. But I gave it 3 stars as I had to return it due to inaccurate description.
