Exactly What I Was Looking For!

When is the last time you received a compliment on your salad bowl in the office kitchenette? Well, I have gotten quite a few with this beauty! It’s the perfect size for my chopped salad. It keeps your veggies cool and crisp, and the accompanying salad dressing container is the perfect touch. If you want to eat healthy and not pay almost $20 for a salad in NYC, this is a fantastic purchase. Highly recommend!

Great bowels

My only complaint is the lid doesn’t go on well. There is no way to vent the air so the lid kind of hovers. It stays but I put it inside a Swell thermos. Not sure how leakproof it would be without it

Not "To Go" size

I decided on this salad container because it has the separate tray to keep the wet ingredients away from my lettuce. I totally missed the product dimensions section when ordering. This salad bowl kit is Huge. I have a collection of different sized work lunch bags and this does not fit in any of them. Product Dimensions as listed: 7.64 x 7.64 x 4.57 inches. It also arrived with some scratches. Not used, just scratched. Nice item though.

Perfect Size

I needed something small for my chia pudding breakfast I premake. It is the perfect size and doesn't take a lot of room in my fridge.

Excellent quality

Enjoy using these. Portion size is perfect. Easy to clean. Thickness of glass is impressive. Will likely order more in same and larger sizes. Of the various brands I have of glass food containers, by far my favorite!

Functional for prep and serving.

Good size for both storage and serving. Measure guide on the side is helpful. Covers make them most useful. I did not give five stars. because it said don’t put them in the dishwasher. I do though with no problem.

Beautiful

Does not keep food hot for long. By lunchtime it's warm but I would like a bit hotter.

It keeps hot food hot, but

My lunch is usually outside in a cold van when I get to it, so I wrap the food container in a hand towel for added insulation.

Not worth it

The first time I saw such a poor package. When it came, it was put in a soft bag without an outer packing box. The size of this lunch box is ok for my 8 years daughter. The inner liner box is too small and useless. The advantage is that the lid is easy to open, easy to clean, and can be washed in a dishwasher. I don't think it's worth the price. A little disappointed.

Glass bowls

Love these little containers, they seal in the liquid and are easy to see through. This means I can see what’s them and so it doesn’t go to waste in the fridge. Ideal to take my breakfast to work in. I have purchased quite a few. Highly recommend them.

Warm for lunch but not for dinner

Heat up meals in the morning and it keeps pretty warm for lunch but gets cold later in the afternoon. Compared to other thermal containers, it is easy to clean and easy to eat with because of the wide open, also with only one lid, which could also be the reason of getting cold easily. btw, I didn’t use the inside plastic container.

Never disappoints

I have the insulated bowl that comes with one of these containers, but having 5 of them is much more ideal for meal prepping. They keep my oatmeal fresh and leak proof. It would have been more worth the money if it's made out of glass, but the outer container is already quite heavy, that I think plastic is a more cleaver option. Swell is always living up to the quality.
