I like it so far
This is 100% more useful than the slick-top factory original. Installation was simple. Clip seems to hold phone well enough so far. Tray is too slippery for most stuff while driving; you'll have to secure it elsewhere when you go off-road.

Doesn't latch in 2009 dash, read reviews!
Read the full review as my pics show several addons! The phone grip it comes with is shown on the bottom. Orig review: 2009 Rubicon. Like others are saying the clips suck. I spent a good while fiddling with it to try and get it to snap in and it wouldn't. The clips just will not grab. I plan to spend more time trying to bend the clips to a position they may grab in but I don't want to break them and be able to get a refund. I'll write more after I attempt to make this work. Other than it not being usable, the construction seems good enough and the mount also seems nice since you can adapt many 19mm ball mounts to it. The spring grab phone holder it comes with seems pretty sucky and my phone would fall out hitting a pothole. Edit: Like some others posted I pull the original clips and used those and the insert will clip in but it still doesn't fit properly. Even after getting the insert to clip in it's still loose on the windshield side and it also slides side to side about a 1/4" so it's not a great fit. Another edit: Here's what I have today and I'm pretty happy with the mounting setup now. I had to spend a bit on getting all the bits and pieces but I'm extremely happy with the outcome. To fix the side to side movement I have an USB-C charging cable run up one side of the stock stereo + 1/8" stereo jack cable worked up the other side (pressed into the grooves up each side) and then joined under this dash tray to a "2-in-1 USB C to 3.5mm Headphones Adapter" so I now have a single charging cable run up to my USB-C only Pixel 3a since the stock radio doesn't have Bluetooth audio. The cable coming out gives the tray enough grip now that it doesn't move. The phone holder on the dash tray has a 1/4" threaded hole on top of the attachment point so you can screw something else right on top and leave the existing phone mount in place. In my case I used the Grifiti arm to replace to upper holder and just screwed it down tight once I got my position where I wanted it so now I have both making it usable for another small device or for a passenger phone. I purchased the "Grifiti Nootle 9 Inch Flexible Metal Black Gooseneck" and added a "RAM Double Socket Arm" and a "RAM Ball Adapter with 1/4"-20 Threaded Hole" to attach the 'TACKFORM Motorcycle Phone Mount - 1" Ball Connection' which has a death grip and it puts my phone within easier view and reach. Also can probably see there is a GoPro shoe on the right side of the tray as I often take vids of trail rides. Very happy!
I was looking for a solid cell phone holder for my 2010 Jeep JKU. I read the reviews, and gave it a try. I installed it in literally 1 minute. Holds my Iphone perfectly. Yes, the clamp is tight putting the phone in. But, I'm driving a Jeep! And, want it to hold my phone tight! Again, very happy!

This is definitely worth having
I don’t know what the other reviews said where they wasn’t happy . But this fit like a glove . I have a 07 Sahara and this fit great I’m happy . All you have to do is take out the old dash . Unscrew the remote power box that’s underneath it . And screw it to the new one and click it back in and ur set .!! Trust me if ur a Jeep owner you will be proud and content with this !!! If it didn’t work for u than you must be dumb and don’t know how to install or follow directions .

IPhone holder spring too tight
The spring on the iPhone holder was so tight that it was very difficult to put the iPhone in place. I ordered a different holder and swapped the heads. Works fine now.

2008 4 dr Sahara. Perfect fit.
The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical at first with all the reviews about the factory clips not fitting etc. I installed this right out of the box and have no issues. It’s a snug fit and it’s really one of those accessories you never knew you need, until you have it. I highly recommend this product. I have a 2008 4 door Jeep Wrangler. The phone clip is perfect, I have a iPhone 11 Pro Max. Size isn’t an issue with the clip. The clip in the photo is just an extra holder I decided to use. So if you have an 08 wrangler and a bigger phones, then this accessory is perfect for you.

Great Jeep accessory
Price was right, arrived fast and works as advertised. Used it on my 07 JK Wrangler for the GPS mount and dash storage space. The dash storage is good for keeping cell phone at hand. Installs in 5 minutes, works great. GPS/dash-cam arm could be stiffer, it flexes some when popping unit off universal ball mount. Minor related problem is that my GPS interferes with Jeep's compass sensor when it's on. The compass sensor is mounted right under the dash mount/cover. Not really a problem since GPS has compass reading anyway. When you shut off GPS, the interference stops. Love it, gives a bit more functionality and looks almost like a factory unit.

Much better than the standard dash cap. Easy to install. Looks good. Great for GPS mounting. Good price. Fast shipping. ** Edit: After using for some time, have found that cell phone, gps, or other electronic devices, placed in the dash cap, can interfere with operation of vehicle compass causing erratic and/or erroneous readings. Compass module is mounted to and directly below the dash cap.**

Perfect upgrade
Great little upgrade, fit perfectly.... Cell phone holder works great on my Note 20. As per previous reviews the factory clips work better. Litteraly takes under 2 min to swap the clips. Happy with the product.

Good product but the clips that hold it are crap had to use the ones off of the stock piece
