Takes a bit of practice to get slices the thickness I like.. The surface is a bit slick so ...

Very well made.. Stainless Steel..Takes a bit of practice to get slices the thickness I like..The surface is a bit slick so you must hold the block of cheese frimly..Also make sure that the black is near the back otherwise the front of the handle will smash the front of the cheese block..Blade is sturdy and well made. I start the cut with a downward motion and about 1/2 way I use the plam of my hand to finish the cut..Made sure you have a firm hold otherwise the block will slip..Easy clean up..Wash with warm water and clean the blade.. Turn the cutter over to get any bit of cheese that stick there.I find it cuts best when the block of cheese is cool..

Surprisingly heavy stainless steel.

Cuts like a champ but it is a bit small. Square, flat blocks of cheese are best.

good stainless steel for cleaning

This stainless steel cheese cutter is great for cleaning and is perhaps better than some of the wire jobs. Nevertheless the thin blade is not sturdy enough to cut a uniform slice off of a standard block of cheese. It tends to bow and cut un-uniform partial slabs off the front of the block rather than a uniform thin square of cheese like one finds in commercial packages of sliced cheese.

Works for HARD CHEESE!!

Tried the wire cheese cutters and none worked like this! It’s more of a blade so it actually cuts. Very happy.

Best cheese slicer EVER. Cut all the cheese you want!

We have owned many cheese slicers over the years of this similar design, however the others before were all a thin wire. The wires would break, lose tension, get gunked up after every few slices and generally annoy me. This AMAZING little guy has a thin metal BLADE. All of those wire issues are GONE. Cutting various cheddar, swiss, sliton, gouda, and some curiosities with fruit and even bacon have been flawless. Razor thin or thick, the control and the cut are precise. And after you finish cutting all that cheese....boom! Into the dishwasher. Couldn't be easier.

RSVP CHEESE SLICER. .

This is easy to clean in the dishwasher. However it appears more difficult to cut thin slices, it takes more control to get an evenly cut slice. It is very well made and should give several years of adequate service.

This is an excellent product and I not only bought myself one but three friends as well. Its much better than using a cheese wire. I recently bought this for a friend who loves it as well. Mine is about five year old and still going strongexcellent product

Not pleased

It doesn't perform much better than other cheese cutter. Not true it can cut other food and doesn't cut a nice even slice. Unless cutting a square item it does not make nice slice.
