NOT rated for 21000lb MBS. Only 14600lb MBS

I ordered this sling because I needed something that I could drop some big wood on and a 21,000LB MBS is what I needed in order to feel safe. What I received was a sling that was marked on it's tag as only supporting a MBS of 14,600LBs. I called up Sherrilltree and through several call backs, emailed pictures, and an email I never received thus putting me past my return date. . . . . . I found out that THEY don't even know why it is marked like that and apparently ALL of these slings come marked at 14,600 MBS. NOT what the description says. As of now I was told by Vertical Supply Group that owns Sherrilltree, TreeStuff, Bishop Company, ROPE LOGIC, and Rescue Direct, that they were going to hold a meeting with Rope Logic and figure out what is going on. Meanwhile, I explained this to amazon and they issued me a refund because I cannot trust this sling. Which is super disappointing because I needed this for a heavy job that I was putting off until I got an answer from them. I am going to return it and hopefully they will be kind enough to call me back and give me some answers. My experience with their support was generally very good. . . .minus the email that I never received after I was told that I would get one with an answer. Mind you, THEY didn't yet have one. . . . but don't leave people hanging. Just be transparent. I guess we will see what happens from here.

If you’re doing massive trees I would poon fir a bigger sling but handles the 30-40inch trees I do just fine

A must have for tree work that involves rigging down logs. This is an amazing product. Highly recommended

Easy to use. Strong. Professional Tree Company recommdation.

This is faster to move around the tree for rope redirects than a pulley or block. Strong. Able to run 5/8 rigging ropes with plenty of room to spare. Time is money and this with help save time.
