Made Carrying Kayaks a Breeze

We used 3 straps to help transport 4 kayaks on a 8 hour (each way) road trip. My previous straps were wobbly and the kayaks moved a lot while we drove on the highway. These new straps stayed in place and the kayaks didn't budge at all. We have since used them to transport 2 kayaks on nearby lakes and they really make loading up and going a very fast and easy process. I used 2 under the hood (one on each side to secure 2 kayaks each. Then on the back we secured all four kayaks on one strap. As the way my hatchback closes I had to secure a bungee cord to the inside cargo holds and run the 3rd strap through the bungee cord. I then pulled it out of the way for the hatch to close, then secured the kayaks to it. I still highly recommend these straps even with this slight modification to work with the way my hatch closes.

Held up great.

Couldn't get any of the Maxtrax adapters for my Pioneer Platform before Ii would need them. Used one of these to lash the Maxtrax down flat on the platform (fed through the handles on the Maxtrax so that they couldn't just slide through when the wind got to blowing). Drove 700 miles at mostly highway speeds. Held up great.

Functional solution

Used these to tie down my Yeti cooler on the roof (utilizing Yeti tie down spots.) Drove 700 miles with it (mostly at highway speeds). Worked well. Yeti gets super buggy though. Would definitely recommend as a tie down.

Complete JUNK and a total waste of money

I purchased 2 packages of these straps, 2 in each package. I mounted two under my hood according to instructions, and two in my trunk. I mounted my wilderness A.T.A.K. kayaks on top of my new Rhino rack folding kayak carriers, and set of on a 880 mile trip to Va. I needed to adjust the tension on all of the Rhino straps occasionally as I was traveling at about 70 MPH. The first anchor strap pulled out of the grommet after about 100 miles, and I was forced to stop at a home depot to buy ratchet straps to put into my wheel well to hold the kayaks in place. The other front anchor failed about 50 more miles up the road. The rear two made it to my destination, but they too had pulled out of the grommets. These anchors are worthless pieces of s**t. and a complete waste of money. You cannot put enough tension on them to hold a load in place, so what is the point? simply put, JUNK

Tough straps

Have had them about a year and they are still holding up well. Use them to tie my canoe and surf board down.Good buy, would recommend.

Good quality product

It solves the issue on where to tie down the load. I wish it was sold on pairs. Like that the strap goes around a solid piece and not inside a slot. Also liked that has rubber on the bar so it doesn’t damage your car painting.
