Good quality. Breaks apart when necessary but not too easily.

The only cat safety collar that stays clipped! I've tried many break-away collars for my cats over the years. Most of the buckles come undone with little pressure and don't stay on. The type that I've had the most success is are those $4 elastic collars with a traditional buckle. The cat can escape if caught on a branch but the collar stays on. The problem with the elastic is that it gets fuzzy quickly and doesn't look good. This RC collar has a durable web collar and a strong enough buckle to stay on when the cat is grooming or rubs up against the door. But it will break apart if the cat is hung up on something that could result in choking the cat. It's now my go-to safety collar.

cute but comes off too easy

I got this exact collar at a local shop for my kitten, he is able to tug it off easily with hardly any effort. This collar is now currently lost somewhere in my house and I am now looking on Amazon for a replacement. Buyer beware.
