i60 sticking wind angle needle

It works great when working but in direct sun the wind angle needle sticks and must be kept shaded. Shading it "un-sticks it." Out of direct sun it works fine. Raymarine says they are working on a fix. Many are complaining. It may be a design flaw in the i60 display. I'd wait to buy until problem's resolved -- unless you only sail at night or out of direct sunlight. Raymarine has subsequently advised that some units were built with an improperly set pin which causes the sticking. They are repairing or replacing these units as necessary.

Seatalk cables are missing from the packaging

The packing slip for this item as well as the Raymarine product description clearly states that the sea talk cable is included in this kit. However, the sea talk cable is missing from the packaging. The cable, of course, is essential to the installation.

these new displays are great during the day compared to previous ST 60 etc

these new displays are great during the day compared to previous ST 60 etc... however at night the needle white illumination makes them close to unreadable... not a great feature.. even if you toggle between Lamp settings hard to see if they are part of other displays.. pity this wasn't tested before release. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

THIS WAS THE WRONG MODEL FOR MY VESSEL - I WANTED TO RETURN IT UNUSED - JUST LOOKED AFTER JUST A FEW DAYS AND WAS TOLD THE VENOR WOULD NOT ACCEPT A RETURN - WHAT CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE

Perfect, seamless replacement for the ST60 Wind

These are great instruments. Basically an updated version of the ST60 and is an easy replacement/ upgrade. Cut out hole is the same as the ST60, as is the masthead unit. Just need a SeaTalk 1 to SeaTalk NG adapter cable (A06047) and junction block (D244) to plug it in and go. Those pieces are about $30-40, maybe less if you can find them used.

goed product voor een fantastische prijs

Overal elders is deze klok minstens de dubbele prijs. Om een voor mij onverklaarbare reden was deze tijdelijke aanbieding. Hetzelfde item kost nu 429 ipv de 229 die ik moest betalen. Volgens mij van dezelfde leverancier. Ik ben blijij.......
