Great striper bait in shallow water

A great bait for striped bass in water 10ft and under. Reel it slow, reel it fast, or jerk it around. It works! I usually trade out the treble hooks for inline hooks, or smash the barbs.

Rapala makes a the best product in the business. I am however surprised at how finicky these are after catching one fish it will not run straight again no matter what I do. Maybe I just don't know how to fix them when they get out of adjustment but one would think it would stand up to more than one fish.

Striped bass will hit this lure all day

This is my go-to lure for striped bass in the fall when they come into the rivers of the Chesapeake to feed on bunker. Absolutely slays them and matched the hatch perfectly. Just rinse off the hooks with fresh water after each use they will rust.
