Great sprinkler head
I’ve used quite a few different impact style heads over several decades of keeping my lawns. I’ve always liked RAIN BIRD products and have been pleased when I used them as replacements for other similar units.

Critical Flaw
Considering the brand name, I assumed these would be fully adjustable like other impact sprinklers. But they are not. The deflector on top is the problem. It is controlled by a slightly elliptical knob printed with indicators for less and more. The flaw in this is how mild that ellipse is. It's nearly circular. So you get very little control for how far to project the water stream. My fix was to pinch a piece of leaf in between so that it pushes down more on the deflector (shorten the spray). The bottom line is that I will have to buy another and will probably get one of those generic models that have fully adjustable deflectors. Not a knob.

Just keeps going
I use this full circle impact sprinkler on top on a piece of pvc pipe attached to a T-post in the center of my garden to over lap with 4 other part circle impact sprinklers. I’ve now used it for two seasons and it just keeps working. After the first season I put it away in the shed and never touched it again until late spring. The three seals at the base of the sprinkler were stuck together. I separated them using a penny from my pocket and it went another whole season. I water my garden with a semi trash pump from a pond and blame to sludge and hard water for making the seals stuck together. I don’t see this thing quitting any time soon, but if it does I will buy another.

Perfect fit
I order this product and it fit perfectly on the previous attachment. The price was lower then lows and Home Depot. I will definitely buy this product again for my future diy’s

Only rotates one way - Needs enormous water pressure.
The media could not be loaded. Not sure what water pressure this thing requires but obviously mine is not enough. When it's screwed into the 1/2" base, the threaded section allows the body of the sprinkler to rotate inside it, this tolerance is also up and down as well as around. This causes the head to drop when the water is off and when the water is put back on, the pressure is not enough to raise it up again, meaning I need to flick it up manually. ( My video shows this better) When the sprinkler head is in the raised position it starts to rotate, but when it reaches the limit stop, it just sits there. It does not traverse back to the other limit stop to then repeat the sweep which is how this sprinkler type is supposed to operate. I'm not sure if it requires a higher water pressure as the chart on the instructions gives a starting PSI of 25 which is probably more than most UK households. Either way it did not work for me so it's going back. Really disappointed as I had high hopes for this sprinkler head.

Best lawn sprinkler
I had tried another product (German manufacture) which looked the part but fell to pieces after a few days and decided to try the original Rain Bird. Quite superb and easy to set up / control (unlike the previous which had no instruction whatsoever) The Rain Bird looks built to last and I have ordered a repeat. It took 3 days to get here and in any case cheaper than the rather poor copy from elsewhere!

Works well with just average water pressure
In an amazon.com review, someone recommended to buy the plastic rain bird rather than the brass if your water pressure isn’t good. I have found this to be correct. I tried the brass one first, but it turns very slowly and sometimes doesn’t turn at all. I think it would do better if the water pressure was higher. I then purchased the plastic rain bird sprinkler, and can say that it is better for the weaker water pressure we have here. It spins very fast and makes a pleasant sound. I have never been satisfied with sprinklers I have purchased in the past. This is the first one I am happy with.

Garden Sprinkler
The original and best. Bought this as we had a heatwave in the UK this summer. I have tried cheaper imitations... they are not a patch on this. The build quality is superb and you can immediately tell the difference in the greater control over the spray length and pattern. Buy it you won't be disappointed!!

A quality product.
This is my favourite type of sprinkler. I have had quite a few different types of device in the quest to keep my lawn looking reasonable in the Summer but this is the best. This type of sprinkler is available in plastic for about a third of the price but they don't last so long. This one is real quality and I am sure that it will give many years of service to me.
