Good sprinkler

This is a well built solid impact sprinkler. Be sure to ONLY step on the clearly defined foot peg to insert this into your lawn. I learned my lesson with one of these before trying to press down on the foot peg as well as the outlet on the opposite side. Pushing downward with my body weight broke the outlet clean off. That’s why I bought this one to replace. The instructions could be better and clearer. Other than that this works great. Tip: These impact sprinklers do NOT work with those stretchy shrinking hoses. You must use the old fashioned rubber hose to maintain pressure for these sprinklers to work.

Great coverage

This product has great coverage with adjustable spray. We have had a few of these sprinklers break at the sharp end of the base. Sometimes we have to use a stake to make the hole to then put the sprinkler stake in to avoid breakage. If you have soft ground then this probably would not be an issue. If you are using the 360° feature, make sure you have it going clockwise, (to the right) otherwise it will come unscrewed. Very happy with the coverage these portable sprinklers provide.

Versatile and Appears Well-Built

I like that you can connect it in a "daisy chain" or single connection. The hose attachment points, both male and female work easily and appear to be well-made. The deflectors on almost any of this kind of sprinkler don't stay in place as the force of the water pushes the deflector away. The range limits are easy to adjust and, so far, stay in place. I would say this is a good purchase.

Could never get them adjusted

These are made well but I could never get them adjusted correctly. Got soaked trying. Returned them to Amazon.

Boy will these things water

Just moved to a house with new sod that needed a lot of watering to develop roots. Didn't want to spend a ton on the tripod sprinklers that woudl need to be moved around the yard, so ended up buyihng 4 of these that covered the majority of my 0.25 acre backyard. The advertised spray diameter was true for me even after splitting the house bib 4 ways. Easily adjustable spray pattern from 360 down to a few degrees. Based on their performance this year, I think I'll get many seasons of use out of them.

Gets the job done!

If you have a larger yard these will get you good reach to ensure water hits further out. Adjustments to how wide you want it to circulate can be frustrating, but once you got it you're good to go. No issues with breakage when spiking into the ground. Overall a great product especially for this Texas heat!

Solid build

I got tired of the plastic sprinklers breaking after very short time periods, so I decided to go with something all metal, if pricier. This has done exactly what it is supposed to do, and works as described. All steel and brass construction, the spike and step can be hammered in if necessary, and the adjustments all work well. The only downside on this is that it does need a good bit of water pressure to operate properly, and doesn't have as long of a range as some others, but for short and medium throw situations, you can't go wrong with this sprinkler.

Broke first time using

Love that it's metal , appears to be sturdy, has a footstep to assist with pushing into the ground. That feature got me in trouble though because the (I assume) aluminum construction is not sturdy enough to use your foot to press into the ground. Despite the ground being relatively soft (able to dig the dirt with a hand trowel) it broke the first time I pushed it into the ground with my foot. Be warned, just because it's molded this way does not mean it's sturdy enough to be used this way. Probably about 25% user error 75% design flaw in my opinion.

Both broke ... missed return deadline by 1 day

Was so excited to get these. They are very sturdy but did not last any time at all. The first one we tried lasted the longest but it soon just "stopped" moving back and forth. We then started using the other one ... used it about 3 times and it broken today, the day after the return deadline. How frustrating!!

Watch out dry grass …

No idea how they’ll be as we’ve had tons of rain since I ordered them. I wore out the others I had so these should be able to be good replacements. It’s raining as I’m writing this but they look good in the package.

Spray distance adjustment keeps falling!

The metal spray distance adjustment keeps falling once it starts spraying. I have to adjust it everyday to shoot far but after a few minutes, it drops lower and lower, merely throwing water a couple feet which is very annoying and honestly makes it kind of useless. The other one in the set works fine.

Don't work for long

The first one of these worked for a couple of weeks so I used the second one, now that has stopped rotating after a couple of weeks. Don't buy these, spend a bit more and get on that lasts.

Great product at a good price

I liked the product very well made. What I did not Like i recommended the product to my neighbors who told me the seller had doubled the price, which makes them way over priced ???
