Strong & Reliable so far.

It worked great. Had to pursues this jack to help jack up parts of a house to allow for repairs. It worked very well and was strong and steady.

Worked well

I used it to jack up a concrete slab. For part of the operation it was submerged in very wet mud. It worked flawlessly and cleaned up well.

Fits where others can't

I have a Z-turn mower and in order to change the blades you have to jack up the front end. The bottle jack that I had was too tall to get under the deck but the other lifting point wouldn't allow me to raise the mower enough using that jack. This 'stubby' bottle jack did the trick with a little finessing; I used the old jack to raise the mower enough for this one to fit underneath the deck and from there I was able to gain enough height to fit jack stands under the mower. You have to be sure to follow the instructions to purge any air from the piston prior to use; for some of the negative reviewers here claiming it doesn't work I wonder if they took this step prior to use. Overall this jack looks to be very well made and should last any user a lifetime.

MIsleading Information

Misleading information on lifting height, supposed to be 8 inches, all I can get is 5 1/2 inches and that is fully extended with the top part screwed out. As for durability I haven't tried that part out yet. Looks like it will hold up for what Im gonna use it for. Would diffently need to put blocks under it to lift a truck of any size. As far as lifting, hope you have time on your hands, it moves maybe 1/16th of inch with each pump.

Very pleased with this little 12T jack

Purchased and successfully used this to jack several LVLs into place to stiffen a floor. Very strong jack. Easy to use. Didn't need any bleeding after it arrived. The horizontal handle on the jack helped keep it upright when moving around. Because it is a compact jack, you only get maybe 6" or so of jacking height... that's exactly what you expect for using a compact jack that fits into tight spaces. Relatively easy to compress the piston back into the bottle by hand after opening the valve. It does settle a little over time, which is to be expected for a bottle jack... it's for jacking, not holding. Very pleased.

Couldn’t be happier

Got them today and opened the box. High quality bottle jack. I used them today to jack up my floor joists and they lifted the house with ease. Couldn’t be happier.

it works, now.

I bought this because I wanted to be able to disassemble completely if necessary, which is not possible with welded designs. These things are pretty simple and usually reasonably easy to fix - IF you can get at all the parts. The jack is nicely designed and now works perfectly. However, both the release and bypass valves leaked slightly during early use. As comes up in other reviews, this results in either an inability to raise the jack under load, or an inability to keep a load elevated. Once I seated both valves, the jack works perfectly, and I expect that it will continue to do so indefinitely. So, three stars because I had to tune the jack up before it would operate properly. If it worked the way it now does without my needing to repair it, I would have given it 5 stars. I should note that I bought the jack knowing perfectly well that I might run into initial performance issues, but knew from the design that whatever came up, I could could probably fix it.

Limited Maximum Height Capability

The low profile bottle jack will fit under a low car like a 2008 Honda Accord but it will not lift high enough to get the wheel off the ground. It is well made and works as described but will not lift high enough for my application. I think I need either a floor jack or a scissor jack that goes low enough to get under the car but lifts high enough to get the wheels off the ground for winter/summer tire changing.
