LOOKS & WORKS AS EXPECTED. THEY ARE GREAT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE MATS

It is a basic mat for a RESCUED cat who is "bat crazy" and has PTSD and is a "special needs" cat. Everyone "returned" her within a day. I said: "PLEASE BRING ME THE SADDEST CAT YOU HAVE" and she WAS. I chose this cat and she chose me too on October 2, 2016. She does not know HOW to live in a house. She destroyed and breaks everything. As I am an Animal Welfare attorney (And cannot open all the invitations on LinkedIN where I must have well over 8000 connections. I DO screen and I am very selective. I no longer have time to be one of the managers. I am getting every kind of MRI there is tomorrow and thereafter. Sadly, due to genetics and family history, I may require surgery on my brain. That is scary. But the product is good. It is as pictured and the cat dumped everything on it. I have to TAPE them to the floor or the cat will know over all the food and water as I have them in a holder that SITS ON THE MAT and collects food and spilled water. My cat is as good as she will ever get by now. All I did was NOT bug her as she is too high stimulation (so I bought Kit Kat a ton of mats) . She is now Kit Kat and I LOVE HER and do not care about everything she destroys and breaks. She purrs and lets me cry into her fur. KIT KAT HAS A HOME IF I DO NOT DIE. I have a trust fund for her to go to the best local shelter well know in Laguna Beach. The Blue Bell Foundation for cats take "special needs" cats like mine, but I will have to pay big time to get her on the WAIT LIST. SHE is not leaving unless I know I will soon die. That is NOT by choice. I LOVE THIS CAT. Just have patience with feral and abused cats. They are so worth it as is THIS product. I have 5 more. You will get compassion fatigue, but Kit Kat is worth EVERYTHING. I lost my husband, both parents and my savant daughter who went to Ivy League Schools as she has PERFECT MCATS (old and new styles), graduated at the very top of the class and then was caught and buried alive by a serial killer. At Dartmouth, she lived with a SAVANT THERAPIST. Harvard was CRUEL, but they told me I AM the "strongest mother they have seen in this kind of sad situation. I have NO ONE LEFT at all. This too has caused much stress. THOUGH HE BURIED MY CHILD ALIVE; her phone recorded it all (in her pocket) and the FBI had me come to SEE THE MURDER and hear her screams. I HAD TO GO and be her ADVOCATE. You cannot drive in MA until age 18; as I flew to Boston more times than I can count and I did this all alone. My husband had just been killed by a death phone (that is a smart phone). People TEXT and drive and they murdered my husband and he stayed in a coma. I authorized NO extraordinary measures. I needed to bury him with RESPECT and DIGNITY. Kit Kat is not my loving husband who would move heaven and earth for us, but to me? She is worth the damage. THINGS can be replaced; my whole family is now dead forever. I think you will not post this as it is too personal, but the product is worth buying in bulk due to how this cat operates. She has more toys than any animal and she really loves to play. So I want her to have CLEAN and FRESH mats for her food and water. So I keep about 5 at a time. If the price goes down, then I will buy all they have left in ANY color. I need them clean and we don't want mold. The mats DO what they are intended to do, so I highly recommend this product depending on the cat. If you cannot post this, I will leave out everything personal and recommend the product only. I CARE.

I really like it

I bought this a couple months ago when I bought the cat fountain. I needed a new mat or pad because what I had was looking awful. I saw this and thought it was so cute. Plus, it was perfect to compliment my beachy blues. Since it was early on in "shelter in place" time, the mat and the fountain were like entertainment that was practical. I was glad to get something that made me happy - I don't think it mattered much to Chelsea the cat. The mat and the fountain were put in place at the same time and I realized I needed the fountain really close to the edge of the mat because if it was sitting too far back and her feet were going to be half on and half off, she would back up then be reaching to get to her water. Now the food and water both sit to the front and she doesn't mind at all. Since I have long drapes I pull shut at night I can't have everything sitting too far back anyway it works all the way around.

The perfect placemat for a very spoiled cat!

During the pandemic, our 12-year-old orange tabby has become incredibly social. So social that she began sitting on the dining room table while we eat lunch and dinner. We can’t toss her on the floor because our 80- and 120-pound dogs sit at our feet waiting for something to accidentally drop. So … we silly empty nesters began feeding the cat tidbits on the table, which was a huge mistake. Now she takes her food in bowls at the other end of the table on this great placemat. If she’s going to eat at the table, she’s got to dine in style. We like the MCM fish design, the durability, and easy cleaning. She likes that her bowls don’t scoot across the table. I’m sure this would work well on the floor too (and maybe one day we will try that)!

Not the colors pictured

I bought this same mat a year or more ago, I got another one and the colors are not the same cool colors as above. Not worth returning but just want folks to know that the mat colors of the fish have changed, and not for the better in my humble opinion.

Quality and easy to clean

I bought this for my elderly cat as a non slip mat for the kitchen counter. And it’s great for that. Easy to wash and dries quickly. I also bought one for our dogs who are labs and collect water in their flappy cheek pouches when they drink. I like that it doesn’t get moldy or collect water underneath. But when you have dogs like labs whose cheeks and flappy lip collect water - said water tends to drain as they walk away from the bowl.

So cute, but needs to be cleaned regularly

I have a rescue kitten who likes to drag his wet food off the plate and onto the floor to eat it (doesn't matter the size of plate or if I double plate, I think he just hates smooth surfaces.) We have carpet so I needed as solution. I bought these, and they work great for saving the carpet, but almost immediately they got weird purple spots on the backside. I'm kind of assuming they're some sort of reaction to the wet food or mold, but it hasn't come off on the carpet so we're still using them. Not sure if we'd been better about cleaning them after every use if we could've avoided it, or if they are harmful at all, but it's a good to know.

Not For Wet Food.

I only feed my cat wet food and he has a tendency to bite the pate and put it on the floor and eat it that way. At the end of the day there's all these dry crumbs all around his food bowl. I didn't realize this is a scratchy fabric when I bought this. Maybe it's supposed to be a scratchy fabric so it catches the food crumbs but when you try to clean it out it gets stuck in the fibers and, since it is a fabric, it now smells terrible even though I always wash it. A nylon/plastic/rubber surface will be much easier to clean. I would have to repurchase.

Muy fácil de limpiar

Mi gato suele sacar la comida y ensuciar el suelo, es muy sencillo de limpiar el único tema es que se dobla de las esquinas después de haberla lavado, yo la metí en la lavadora, quizá por eso se presentaron los dobleces.
