Not packed in a cool carrying case

There is no case, just the box with a handle. The songbook is just a few sheets of paper too. If I would have not expected these items to be included I'd give it a higher rating. But now I need to buy a case and book separately. The drum is fine and is enjoyable to play.

I'm not a musician but I was impressed, this sounds really nice.

This sounded exactly like the steel drums I have heard in other countries. I looked up Don't Cry For Me Argentina on noobnotes.net and thought I did pretty good considering I don't plan an instrument.

Sounds of Trinidad in the Home

This was a gift for my kids to help introduce Trinidadian culture to them. COVID has prevented travel to the island and was happy to find a quality pan on Amazon at a reasonable price. Though inexperienced we learned to play some Christmas tunes and brought some of the island sounds into our home.

???????????????? Great sound quality for the price point ???????????????? Sturdy metal drum. ???????????????? SUPER easy to play ???????????????? The rubber mallets that are included sound better than the nicer mallets we have. ???????? The plastic stand is a thicker, nice plastic but is still unstable enough that I deducted a star in the “Studiness” category. ???????? The metal drum has been spray-painted with silver paint. It’s not a dipped or powder coated. Whether this will affect the life of the drum depends on if the exposed/unpainted metal on the underside is susceptible to rust. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Overall it’s a 5 star item for this price point ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ???? Each of the notes are hand written on the drum with a permanent marker which is displayed in the product pictures but somehow I overlooked it. It’s not a dealbreaker but in this day and age it’s kind of funny

Cool and fun!

This is pretty cool. Came with simple music notes so you can play right away. Bought it for myself but little kids love it too

It really sounds good

We bought this for my 32 yr old son in law. The others I looked at were only 11" across. This is larger. Any age can play this and it doesn't have kid literature in the box, to make it seem like it's only for kids. The sound is nice. Better than what I expected

Perfect Beginning Pan for All Ages

Bought this for myself to learn the pan and bring sounds of home back into my life here in Texas. Was pleasantly surprised by the sound and sturdiness. Have had a great time learning. Light and easy so children can use, too.

Fantastic pan and fantastic service

This pan is fantastic. As a newbie it is just what I needed and wanted. Added to that, the company is brilliant and had fantastic customer service. I had problems downloading the beginners guide and when I contacted the company they immediately said they would post a copy to me. And I got an email from the owner apologising. Possibly as good on the market at a cheaper price

Quite expensive but a lovely sound. However no instruction leaflet with it. Disappointed that the frame is cheap plastic that comes apart easily. If it h Dante been a Christmas present for my little grandson who loves it I would probably have sent it back as I think it’s very overpriced.
