Great automatic chicken coop door
Bought this door for our new chicken coop. It takes a little muscle to push it into the door opening and install it but once it's in there you just screw in the provided screws. There is a tiny gap at the bottom where you can see light shine through so I wish it would seal better but it's not big enough for anything to really get through. This door was recommended as the best automatic door for our coop and sold by the same manufacturer (OverEZ) so we figured we could still close the manual door on the outside if need be but this door will block that door from closing. Not a huge deal since you only need one door but just a side note if you plan on keeping the regular door on the coop. Rating this a 4 instead of a 5 because it has a "wifi" type setting but zero instructions on how to use it or program it even on their website. Nothing about it in user manual which was NOT provided with the product (had to find it online). Door is otherwise easily programmed for manual open/shut or automatic settings. Automatic open and shut (just program the time) works like a charm. We have been having issues with manual open and close but we don't hardly use that function. Overall a great door but I did like the Omlet brand door on our old coop better.

Nice chicken door
Nice door but I wish there were a way to close it by remote. Some nights may get darker due to a storm but with the timer setting it waits until that specific time each night.

Excellent Quality
The media could not be loaded. This coop door exceeded my expectations. Installation only took a few seconds, thanks to the preset screws. Programming the time for open and close was simple and intuitive. The metal door is heavy and drops into a groove that should make it difficult for animals to pry the door open. I attached a magnet to the metal door and Samsung Smart Things multi-sensors on the top and bottom of the frame so that Stringify can alert me if the door ever fails to fully open or close. The ST sensors also monitor vibration, so I'm alerted if an animal starts prying at the door. I highly recommend this door.

After replacing the control box the door works fine. The shed yard did a great job of helping me through this. Thanks

Problems
I have had nothing but problems with this door. We got the overez chicken coop and the part was crooked where you put the door. They replaced it. My husband works out of town so he was just a wow to install it a month ago. It worked for a week and drained the battery we bought. We bought another battery and had no problems for 10 days until this morning. The door won’t open and the battery is working. All you hear is a buzzing sound. I had to manually take each chicken out of the coop and then put them back in to lay. My husband thankfully got home today. Guess what? The gears are broken so the door won’t move! I left a voicemail and haven’t heard back. I bought the door from them since I bought the coop from them. I did that so we would not have problems! It’s way more expensive than other doors! Since my husband works out of town for weeks at a time I was trying to make it easier on him! I’m so angry right now! We are leaving in 10 days for vacation. I have no one that can check on my girls daily! I bought overez feeder and waterer from tractor supply. Everything we have purchased has been from overez chicken coop! I am beyond angry!!!!!! They sent me a new door. I will update in a month.

Excellent Product
This product was exactly how it was advertised. I highly recommend this for anyone with an OverEZ coop.
