We have 4 irrigation zones and needed a quality manifold to hook up 5 garden hoses to that operate Orbit brand sprinkler heads. We run the first 2 zones, then the next 2 zones and then the last zone all done manually by the manifold’s black turn knobs. We did not like our first purchased product which was a timer from a different company. Having this 5-hose manual manifold works perfectly. We set a timer on our phone and then close zones and open other zones as needed. Very easy to use and install. We have an irrigation (yard) meter which our manifold is hooked up to.

Sturdy, 5 out ports and good spacing
Pros -Has 5 ports to connect your hoses to, if you need up to five. -Seems solid and time will tell on its longevity.. -Decent hose to hose spacing... Cons -If your hose setup is constantly tugged on, it will shift and fall off main feed...(*It comes with a center stabilizer bar to bolt to the wall, but my home has the pipe running up the wall center where it should be mounted, alternate setup required to stabilize it.)

Great Design and Durable Quality! 5-way is Unique and Hard to Find!
[Update Review on Nov.18th, 2019 below original review] Very well-made and designed. Bravo to the engineers for this. I might actually get a 2nd one for spare since it is well-priced (around $10 dollars when I ordered it) and a 5-way is hard to find. UPDATE: This item still works just as well and has maintained its quality and function so far. I have been really impressed that I went to see if I could order a spare...but the price was raised! Too bad. Will just have to wait for when it is the appropriate price again to purchase. I also read some of the other reviews. I can see why some think the engineering on this manifold could be worrisome. But for some reason i guess I got lucky and the item still performing well with nearly every day use. If it gies south because I jinx myself, will update here. Will check every few weeks to see if this item is near $10 dollars again. Not about to buy it for more than that. Sorry.

Good shaping/space, but poor internal design
The spacing to attach hoses/devices is really good. I liked the initial install of the splitter. After a year I came home and heard water running. When I checked, an internal piece that seals the ball valve had popped out and water was gushing out of the fixture. I have no idea how long the water was running - could have been 6 hours. I'm glad it didn't fail while I was on vacation. Other fixtures seem to have a seal that is a molded part of the entire fixture. That seems like a better design to prevent this type of failure.

It leaked
Don't real like the design but needed more space for 3-timers I'm using. The other 4-way I was using (2wayz 4 Way Garden Hose Splitter) has bigger levers to turn on and off vs this one with small levers. By keeping the middle outlet vacant on this one, I could face all the timers forward to program them anytime has a need which could not on 4-way. It leaked terribly until placed additional rubber-washer - wished this one had heavy duty connector like the other one.

Super impressed that they work and are still working just fine
Bought 3 and am buying 2 more. LOVE the 5 connections and that they're very separated so knuckle scraping when putting the hose on and off. So far, after several months, there are no issues with any of the 3 first purchased. Highly recommend buying. Zinc is not toxic as brass or plastic so another plus.

Very Good
It did not leak at all and putting all the hoses on I was certain I'd have leaks but there were none. The product is certainly sturdy and it does it's job. I love that there are 5 openings to use which is what I needed. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the little black plastic switches are very small and they are hard to move, especially when they have water pressure behind them. For this unit I would be moving the switches constantly since it's hooked up to drip irrigation zones so I'd be turning them on and off a lot. Becuase of that I'll be using this unit for hoses where I won't be needing to move the switches very often.

Do not leave outdoors
It worked well for the first season. Left it outside over the winter with no pressure in it, and come summer all the sleeves had popped out before I even turned on the water. I found them all on the ground and tapped them back in. Sure, it’s possible that cold cycles could do that, and nothing was plugged into the outputs, so I *guess* that’s somewhat expected? I turned off all the outputs and no leaks. Awesome, right? Nope. The entire valve exploded. Garbage. I have other Orbit products buried in my yard, and now I’m seriously second guessing my decision to expand on them this year.

Best multiple valves for garden hose!
The device has 5 ports with switch, it is the best multiple valves for garden hose, the price is very decent. I secure the device with the provided back support but relieve the stress from the outdoor faucet. So far I put on this device 2 hoses for drip irrigation, 1 hose for a watering gun, 2 ports free so far. I really like that each port has it own valve control. Very solid construction. If you are a gardener, this is a keeper!

Will only last you a season
I bought last summer and it worked great. It looks well built, but... This spring I went to attach hoses (water was turned off all winter) and every valve leaked. Doesn't anybody make a product that will last more than a few months?

Off switch poor design
The off switches are different, the bottom ones are horizontally off , but the two side ones are horizontal left and right , hard to know if they are on/off, poorly designed, all off positions should be horizontal
