The Shoes Are Fine - it's UPS that sucks.
I would have preferred a darker colour but these were on sale, so as long as they had a dark sole I guess they'll do. I find I have to order boys' sizes for myself because for some reason they fit better with less slippage as in, shoe manufacturers expect boys' shoes to stay on their feet as they walk and do things around town. Womens' are expected to, what, slip up and down and slide off if we have to run around or walk fast or do anything at all? I might have to start wearing these in brown or black so they'll look less like sneakers at first glance and just pass for some kind of "sandal" or something, I'm not sure yet. I need closed-toe "sandals" by now because thanks to an earlier purchase this year, well, that and some broken-up lame excuse for "pavement" I was trying to walk across, I fell and sprained my big toe and have since had the big toenail peel halfway off. My biggest problem with these shoes was that UPS had their usual hard time finding my address - and it's only been recently, as if they're recently hired idiots at this location and I've had to have Amazon replace a couple of things that have been delivered to some other address entirely, on the other side of town, not even to another street bearing the same name as mine (when the city has N, S, E, and W directionals on every street, that would be understandable, as in, 1625 Gold Ave SW instead of 1625 Gold Ave SE, sort of thing, but even those are in different ZIP codes!) - it's not Amazon's fault that apparently both the USPS and UPS around here seem to hire people who can't read. Oh well. I'm going overseas soon, and overseas mail delivery *should* be better. By the time the box reached me, UPS' second delivery attempt according to the package tracking, it was pretty busted up as if they'd thrown it around the truck or something. The product inside was OK, as it's only shoes.

Great
My boys needed their new sandals as they always get a pair each year for the warmer months. These fit well. My son is a size 12 and they fit like a size 12, no extra room no little room. My second son wears a size 7 shoe where sometimes he has a bit of space, but in these sandals they fit just right, unless they grow rapidly in a couple of weeks, then we might have an issue. Otherwise easy, my 4 year old son can put these on very easy I showed him to pull the cord, pull the sandal apart, and then close it down to attached it to the shoe cord up front. He does well, does not need my help. My two yr old can put them on and tighten them but needs help with placing the snap piece on the cord. No problem there, they have been dressing themselves for a while now and are independent. I saw other people had issues with their children putting their own sandals on because it was not velcro, but I did not have an issue. Just depends on the kid. The material is lightweight, and soft, there are no marks or red spots on their feet after using them. They ride their bicycles, run outside, use in water at the lake, and no issues. The closed toe is a very important feature for me as I do not want their toes to get hurt as with other open toe sandals and flip flops, some of which they trip on easily and it is careless for children to use those outside. These keep the kids feet cleaner, free from hurt, and it is a good fit.

Nice shoes, but rather difficult to put on..
These are cute shoes. The size and color were both spot on. The quality seems very good, but I can't speak to durability yet. They seem comfortable, don't seem to leave marks or blisters. However, even when "unstrung" and stretched out a bit by me, they are very hard for my 4 year old daughter to put on. We also have a larger size for my 8 y/o and he also has difficulty. I think it might get easier as they get "broken in", but I don't know if the kids will wear them long enough because of how irritating they are to put on. Also, the "strings" are impossible for my 4 y/o to fix back together herself, honestly they are a little bit of a pain for me to do back up because of the finicky little hook. I think these could be much easier to put on and wear if they had a "hook and loop" / "velcro" type closure at the back or a lil more flexibility to the back of the shoe. Also, I've never had a pair of sandals like this that have such a finicky plastic "hook" for the strings to hook into.. We'll see if the kids want to keep wearing them or we just end up getting different shoes.

Not well made, much more flimsy than I expected. Significantly lower quality than Keen.
I like that these do not have any hook & loop (i.e. velcro) on them. I specifically looked for a shoe that did not have the hook & loop style closure. But the quality of the shoe is much lower than I had expected. Of all the size 6 shoes I have purchased, this is the smallest, possibly true to size (with all other brands running large). These shoes are scratchier on the inside than the other (similar style) toddler shoes we own, but not so much it would be a problem. The child (so far) tells me to take them off as soon as I put them on her, but the shoe is not yet broken in.

great shoe - runs big
my son wore a 5.5 tennis shoe through school. I figured a 6 would be fine. They don't carry half sizes and I thought a 5 would be too small. I should have bought the 5. We needed them for sleep-away camp and didn't have time to get another pair. They seem to be great shoe, they just are larger than "actual" shoe size. Suggestion: if your child is a size 5 - I'd buy a 4 and 5 and return the one that doesn't fit. Same with half sizes: if like my son = 5.5, I should have bought a 5 and a 6. I bet the 5 would have fit him perfectly. Still a fantastic sandal of this type and not as price as Merrell or Keen. Lot of colors to choose from. We bought these 7/8/16. Still more summer left. Guess we will see if they hold up - they seem well made and sturdy.

Excelente
Me gustaron mucho. En primer lugar las compre para mi hijo varon que calza 16 mexicano y le quedo muy chico, muy angosto. Pero a mi hija que calza 15 le quedo de maravilla. Son zapatos practicos, comodos y de facil limpieza. Los compraria nuevamente

No resiste
