What I was looking for...

Works great. Gave it a 4 because it looks like the battery started to slip out slightly over time. Not that big of a deal, but it is very hard to push it back in. Also, it does not fit too snug around my bicep, the ends start to curl back a little bit and I have to tighten l. Not sure if it will fall off, but I feels more secure if I do that.

Great for night-time walks

We're really happy with these! We've been using them during night-time walks for the past couple months. We feel very visible and a lot safer especially with all the distracted drivers in our area.

LED color is red on the yellow straps.

I bought yellow specifically for the yellow color, however the LED color does not match the color of the SlapLit. (Yellow strap has red LED). I see that now in the images, but was not in the description. These SlapLits are replacing some knockoffs found on Amazon that cost half as much, and those use white LEDs do the color matches the band. On a positive, the skin-facing surfaces on the SlapLit bands seem softer, the reflective lines are really bright, and seems easy to remove to replace battery using the built-in pull tab. Happy so far,

Essential for dark runs

Absolutely a must for early morning or late runs. Much of my running is on roads and the blink function and brightness make me feel safe. I always keep around my ankle on blink and the dog has the collar. Motion catches drivers eyes far better than solid. Love this and consider it essential safety. Have used this long enough to burn through two sets of batteries. The yellow is looking a little dingy from sweat and dirt wear but the brightness cannot be touched.

Great safety light for after dark walking or running

I gave this as a gift to someone who runs after dark in a poorly lite city. It is a great beacon to let cars and bikes know you are there.

I ordered 2 of these. One came with a dead battery. No worries, we have some in the house. Still, one is significantly brighter than the other, though the dimmer one is still pretty good. The fabric tab that is used to pull the light out of the sleeve is not strong enough for the job. One broke already. I replaced it with a cable tie. I like how it coils around my arm, wrist or ankle. It seems to stay on well enough the couple times I've used it.

Effective if not perfect

The built in curl of the band does a great job holding it in place, but the ends retain that curl and dig into the arm slightly.

Great light - not very durable

Similar to their dog ball, when it works it works great. When it doesn’t... then you feel like you wasted money. We used this for a few weeks and it suddenly stopped working. Replaced the battery and it’s not as bright as it was (verified same battery type, reputable Duracell brand).
