Pretty pin for the price

I have a bright red corduroy jacket that I pin this on. It looks good in contrast to the color, and works well for a daytime look. I have to say, though, that the gold tone on the wings of the bees are darker than I expected. The rhinestones on the body of the bee don't shine the way some of my other pins do, either. This does suit the jacket, and I am happy with my purchase. But, if you are looking for "BIG BLING" this pin is not it. I have another Napier broach that is also well made but not sparkly. I think they are great for a casual look. I would recommend this piece.

The Bee Brooch

I purchased this brooch for my wife for Valentines Day. We own a honey store in Arizona where we sell several varieties of honey and other bee products. She liked it very much and wore it to church last Sunday where she received several comments about it's appearance as well as being appropriate for "honey people".
