A bit disappointed

The stuff looks nice. However the stuff was dirty & dusty. I had to repackage the whole thing as everything was a mess.

Nice gift for self or others

i bought this for myself on a flash sale. Price was right, products hwve yet to be used, but good brand and quality. If i was gifting i would be a little disappointed in the presentation/condition it arrived in. All thrown together and not nicely packaged. Otherwise, nice product, especially on sale.

Nice gift basket, could be better.

Overall this is a nice gift basket for a new mom or for the growing toddler. The plates are really nice and have compartments for your little one to navigate. The plates have a sort of tread on the bottom so they're not as prone to slide around. The silverware is nice because it's big and easy for a toddler to grip and figure out how to use. Both the plates and the silverware are dishwasher safe and clean very easily. The cleaning brush for me kinda makes sense. It's mostly a bottle brush, even though this kit doesn't come with any bottles or sippy cups, it could still be used to help clean the plates. The rubber ducky, although cute and a favorite bath toy for our daughter, doesn't make any sense in this kit. It would've been better to add a sippy cup of some kind. The duck shouldn't grow mold because it's not made to take on water at all. The little disc on the bottom of the duck turns white if the water is too hot for your little one. It's a good toy, just kinda out of place in this gift basket. The teething toy is okay, but to me it also doesn't really fit with this kit because at this point, most tots have teeth and would just chew the teething ring to pieces. A more solid teething ring, not one with gel inside, would make a little more sense. Overall this is a really cute gift basket and I especially love the plates and the silverware included for our daughter. I think any new parent would be grateful to receive this even though some parts of it don't make the most sense. The basket came wrapped in a sort of tulle like material, not the prettiest job but it gets the point across.

Excellent baby gift that not get tossed in the back of the gift closet

Excellent set from Munckins including all baby first essentials. Bathing duck has a temperature indicator and tells you if the water is too hot for the baby. Plates have dividers that split the plate into 3 compartments which is great not only for separating food but dividers also serve as stoppers and make it easier for child to scoop up the food or stab it with the fork. There is less pushing food around with utensils. Utensils (spoon and fork) come with the stopper so the child can’t shove it too deep in his throat. Mash feeder is great little invention, you can put apples or bananas inside the mesh pocket and give the baby to chew. In this process baby will suck out the juices and massage her gums, my kids favorite was always an apple ???? Only downside to this feeder is the clean up, fine food particles get stuck in the mesh and it’s hard to get it all out. Bottle cleaning brush has a silicone cup on the end so you can sit it up for drain and dry. From my experience with my kids each one of the items included is super helpful and very much needed during babys first year and after. This would make excellent baby shower or gender reveal gift. Clothes, bows, toys are all short lived and end up being pushed around after a while but this like this will definitely last and be used

Cute, useful stuff

This makes a nice little gift for a baby shower, though most of the items are geared towards toddler use. One of the most useful items, the rubber ducky that signals when bath water is too hot, seems out of place with the rest of the items: two divided plates, a spoon, a fork, a scrub brush, and a teether that can be frozen. To me, a soppy cup would have made more sense. The smaller items are attached to cardboard and the whole group is packaged in tulle with a cute clip at the top. Several of our cardboard pieces were crunched, reducing the giftability quotient. In all, a nice pack, a tad high priced.

Perfect gift for any family with a new baby!

This baby gift basket is the perfect practical gift for any new parent. The items are each NEEDED in the first year and made to last. The bottom of basket is actually the two tray/plates with each packaged item taped together with double-sided tape and tulle around all. The teether "secures" the top. The whole thing comes in another box so it's easy to gift wrap or place inside a gift bag if removed from the box. As a mom of 10 kids, I can say that this is a wonderful starter set and definitely recommend it.

Nice baby shower gift with useable products

It comes just like the picture all wrapped and ready to be gifted and the teether wrapped around the packing is a cute touch. We freeze it and use it for teething. I guess for me I have the duck it’s kind of hard, so it’s really used for if the water is hot or not which is good for a first time parent but on my 3rd kid I don’t need this. It does work just an item that’s not really needed. I’d rather have something else in the set. I love the plates they have rubber edging which makes them not move as much on the tray. The silverware is perfect too. My nanny likes the mesh feeder to put in frozen grapes or blueberries to help with teething.
