I love my rain chain!

I bought 2 and hooked them together connecting it to a bucket full of rocks in a landscape area below. Ice forms on it in winter and it looks so cool. Love it!

Limited effect

I can see how this might work in a less rainy climate. But here in Western Oregon the rain is just too heavy at times. Most of the water does flow down the chain but there is a splash zone about 3’ wide. So the area around the drain gets really wet and defeats the purpose of any downspout device.

Just what you'd expect

I didn't put this up myself (old lady here) but my young friend had it up in a few minutes. It works nicely when there is a light rain but when it pours rain it just pours without regard to the chain. Others have remarked the same. I had a sentimental attraction to rain chains from my time in Hawaii and although that dreamy experience was not matched, still, I'm glad I've got it. Someday it might rain again... Just added another photo because it Did rain again (happy days in LA).

Omg! Love these rain chains!!! Love!!!!

The media could not be loaded. These are amazing!!! Just got gutters on my house and I wanted some rain chains. These were perfect! We had a very big rain today so I got to see what they do even in the wind. If you’re thinking about rain chains you cannot go wrong with these they are absolutely beautiful!! Love the sound! I will be purchasing some big tall planters to go under them that will make it even more perfect!

Worked like a champ.

This channeled the water straight down the chain. No muss, no fuss. Replaced a chain that had upside down umbrellas that made a mess when tipping over.

These look great on our home and work very well in the rain. They are a bit splashy in real heavy rain but still love them

Works great!

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to install and it looks and works amazingly! Finally got my first rain with it installed. Looks so much better than my aluminum downspout.

Very tranquil

These looked even better in person. We used them on our two storey covered deck. Had attach two together to get the length we needed but you’d never know. Much nicer than having a long downspout. When it rains they are mesmerizing. Very tranquil. We have received many compliments from our neighbours.

Great....

Use the correct downspout / gutter connection and be sure to seal it in the gutter so that the water runs from the gutter directly onto the chain - if not the rain trickles from around the connection and drips - not making contact with the chain. Beautiful addition to a home, relaxing and peaceful to watch

Was easy to install and looks and works great. I was worried about weight of ice build up, but the ice builds a self supporting column.
