I ordered the right pad this time, be careful because Mohawk makes several types

The pad is perfect, and I ordered the 3/8 size and maybe I should have went one up, but a review on YouTube mention that you obviously know there is something underneath the rug with the half inch. Either way, I think this is the perfect size and it does exactly what I wanted to do is to keep the area rug from moving. It's also adding a tad bit of comfort when I stand on it compared to it being flat on the floor. It just makes the rug seem more luxurious. The cost is pretty inexpensive for the benefit so I highly recommend you don't even hesitate about getting one. As for the title or heading for this review, I did accidentally order another pad which did not have the rubber latex bottom so it did no good, apparently it was supposed to be used just heavy furniture. Next time I won't assume, I will read what I'm buying.

Nice!

This is a good rug pad that will protect my nice rug. Although it is better than the old rubber pad we had on the runner in the hallway, it still allows the rug to move a wee bit. After several days, we have to straighten the pad and rug again. I suspect it's because we step into the hallway and immediately turn either right or left. I don't believe it would move at all if not for that. So far this is the best pad we've had for the spot, but not perfect.

Pricey but perfect

I bought this product to put under a large wool run I purchased at Marshalls. It was perfect. It went down easily, adhered to the floor well and holds the rug firmly in place. The liner had to be trimmed just a bit, which was easy to do with a normal pair of scissors.It is also wonderfully 'cushy.' The rug and the hard wood floor are both new and I really wanted to protect them. I'm glad I purchased this particular product.

Comfy and no sliding!

rug pad was easy to cut! Took my thin rug to a now good thickness and so comfy to walk on. My two toddlers have been racing in house running on it and has yet to slide or budge. Works great would def buy again and recommend to friends.

Exact same quality as one purchased from the carpet store. Those pads were 18+ years old, so I am sure these should last about the same. Rugs are staying put and no fear of falling. Excellent price at the time I ordered these (sale).

Incredible!

We have two of these and we have been using them for a few months now. At first we were not sure how to cut it but I will give some points and tips here so that you will not struggle like we did with the first one. It’s a very good idea to have a new pair of scissors or very sharp hair scissors or even a box cutter. Before you decide where to cut it is a good idea to mark with a pencil along the lines that you would like to be following. The pencil markings can work as your guide. I recommend also putting your original rock on top of this and then going inside about an inch on all sides. A trick to this so that you avoid cutting for sides all around is that you choose the side that has the stratus edges and put that corner in alignment with of course, going in 1 inch on each side of your rug and therefore you only have two sides to cut on the other side of the opposite corner. I hope this explains it. Then all you would need to cut is an L-shaped material off. So to go along with a pencil marking exactly where you want to cut. Or if you would like trace your carpet, and then cut 1 inch inside of that line marking.

Thick!

This is nicely padded and works well under the inexpensive carpet I purchased. It’s very difficult to cut for resizing so make sure you get as close to the size you need.

Great product

Exceptional quality but my carpets in heavy traffic areas still move but not as much w/o the pad. This is a thick pad so make sure your doors will clear.

Very comfortable!!!

I was surprised with the quality for the price. I have a $200 rug pad from wayfair in one of my rooms that is far less comfortable then this one !! Highly recommend this product! It also holds well, no slip.

Love this underpad. Searched Amazon for a long time and took my chance. One side rubbery for my wood floor so won't slide easily. Happy with it. Just received new rug and feels good over this underpad. Size as described too.
