Shocked by Quality

Bought this for my 5 year old who fell in fandom with Pokemon recently. Bulbasuar is his favorite and he likes lego sets so I figured this was a no-brainer. I needed a toy for our Halloween Scavenger hunt and thought this was one of those quick sets I saw. Clearly, I was in a rush to buy because I never noticed this was a 100+ piece set. When I saw how big the box was and then the instruction book I groaned. My son likes lego sets but I have to monitor the construction and in the past Construx sets (Hot Wheels sets) were overly convoluted and hard to snap bricks together. This set shocked me and made me a fan. ⭐ Directions were easy to follow and the pieces were well made ⭐ Book seemed big but the steps weren't bad at all ⭐ The pieces move. He can move his legs and mouth ⭐ the twirl attachments were a cute addition to Bulbasuar and make play fun ⭐ a sturdy set when done. My son plays with it like he does his Pokemon figures. We don't throw it down on the ground but he's manhandled it quite a bit and he carries it around everywhere. ⭐ of course it's a true build so it fits my palm perfectly but it's not too big or cumbersome. ⭐Design and colors are spot on. We snapped up more Pokemon build kits after seeing how easy and fun this set was.

A different type of puzzle

I've enjoying doing puzzles and this was fun and challenging to put together. Once it's complete, it's an awesome toy to have on the shelf. I'm gonna try to put it together without the instruction this time around.

Though the instructions are not as easy as Lego it’s still a fun build. Just take your time and look ahead a step to get it right
