Easy to use

Don't need instructions for these locks, very easy to set and use. I would say these locks are for the honest people out there that would take advantage of an unlocked situation, but not very safe for a determined thief, it would be very easy to break these locks.

Strong lock but too thick to fit on the zipper

Love the lock. It’s strong but the shaft was too thick to fit on the zipper. Had to leave it home. Bummer

Easy to use both in setting the combination and unlocking it.

Worked fine

Used them on my Pelican Vault rifle case for a recent trip. They came through absolutely fine with zero damage and that was with a connection through Chicago O'Hare. They have sufficient "reach" in the lock to fit the enlarged locking points needed for firearms cases, not seen any of the issues reported in other reviews.

Work great

Setting the combination was easy and the locks work great. I purchased them to use on an Eeylar hard case and they do the job. Just remember to have the numbers facing front when you put the locks on your case.

Far from Bullitt proof!

Two lock and the thieves only had time to break one. Maybe that's the best that can be hoped for! Why are luggage handlers allowed to have tools at work?

Fit my Pelican case

A little bit on the light duty side, but it's nice to be able to set your own combo numbers on multiple locks and they are TSA compliment

I had to watch a YouTube video on cracking codes to use the lock…

Good lock but it wasn’t factory set to “0000”. Probably been used before then returned and not reset. I had to watch a YouTube video about cracking lock codes. Bad news is your lock might not be set to “0000”…good news is you might learn a new life skill on how to crack codes like I had to.

Great for my gym locker

Had a smaller similar lock but had trouble seeing the small numbers so upgraded to this lock. Can see the numbers much easier. Sturdy lock. Please with my purchase and use it regularly at gym.

Fits to a T on my Pelican

when you need something like a Master lock for your gear, but TSA approved

This works great. Unlike the typical TSA luggage locks, which are very thin, this lock is thicker and sturdier, and not so easily to snap or break off. This fits perfectly on my Pelican/Nanuk cases as well to secure my contents when transporting it around during my travels.
