Perfect replacement for rusted out horn

My 2016 Robalo Cayman 223 had the horn stop working suddenly. Opened it up, and the horn was a pile of rust failing apart. Ordered this and literally within 15 minutes had the horn swapped and works perfectly. Direct replacement for any bow mounted oval horn with a white or stainless grill. Fit perfectly and two wires just like the factory one. Loudness is about on par as OEM one. Great replacement.

Perfect replacement for stock horn

Bought a used 2005 Bayliner 205 and the horn was not working. This was an was replacement, pry off the cover and three screws and a power plug later our horn is back to working! Have only used for one season so not able to speak to it's longevity but works perfectly so far.

Purchase to replace the same unit that is 14 years old

Direct replacement for the weak one i pulled out of my boat (AFI Model L horn). The unit tested good prior to install in as loud for its size. No Extra modification to mounting holes - direct fit / 14 years later.!!! Did add small piece of window screen material between the cover plate and the horn to prevent insects from building nests (wasps, etc.) in the body of the horn This unit does not come with the White, Black or Aluminum covers. So make sure you keep that from your old unit if you replace it with this one.

Worked, but will not hold up over time

Installed this device because it was a drop in for my old one. By the end of the summer it was already dead. Did not hold up to normal use in the ocean. You get what you pay for in this case.

Easy to install & worked 1st time

This was purchased as a replacement for original horn on 2006 Bayliner. It was an easy fit and worked 1st time. Only niggling aspect is that the original white plastic horn cover did not "Click" back into place on the new horn,(as it had on original horn). So I had to add some adhesive on each of the three locking clips and so far the cover is still holding tight.

Good Replacement of Model L Horn for Bayliner 2052 Cuddy Boat

Does not come with grate cover/grill which is odd since there is likely a leak in the original cover plate/grill/thin plastic that caused the original failure. The horn itself is like 3-5mm larger in diameter than the original (plate is teh same though) which made the screw holes shift over to the one side since the side of the horn was hitting the plywood inside the anchor bay. A little shave of the plywood with a drill bit on the inside of the anchor bay allowed the plate holes to line up with the original holes making it a seamless swap. Took approx 5-10 mins to pull out the oldhorn, shave the inner plywood a bit and replace with this horn.
