Love this London Sip Pour Over Set

Favor is great. The only thing I would change is a more thicker glass craft. Seems somewhat fragile.

Looks nice but it's super fragile

Pretty simple. If you put the carafe down on a solid surface with even the slightest force, the thin glass will break.

The kettle is a must have for pour over coffee

I personally have been using a Keurig for years and recently changed to using a reusable stainless-steel K-Cups. These weren’t very good since it allowed more particles and oil to seep into the coffee. My wife has been doing pour over coffee for a while. First, she got the stainless-steel filter that goes over a cup. Then she got the one that comes with a glass carafe. Each time she was using a Pyrex measuring cup to pour hot water. She had very little control of how much and where she pours the water. So, she had been eyeing the gooseneck kettle. I decided to start trying the pour over method myself. When I saw this set, I figured I could get my own filter since I use different coffee than her, and get the gooseneck kettle she’s been wanting. I must say, I do not like the inconvenience of standing there and pouring the water. I am so used to pushing a button, and walking away to do some stuff and coming back to the coffee. That being said, this makes much better coffee and you have a lot more control over the coffee than a Keurig. So even though I don’t like standing there pouring the coffee, it is well worth it. The 2-tablespoon scoop is solid and heavy. It is not a thin cheap scoop. There is heft to it. I really like it and use it scoop coffee each time. It’s a good size to have. The stainless-steel filter and glass carafe is are nice. Nothing too special about them. It is about the same quality and works the same as the other one we have, but it has a higher capacity. The handle on it is a bit thin for my liking. Overall, it seems to be thin and light and I am afraid I may break it by mistake by hitting it lightly on something. So far it hasn’t so it may be stronger than it looks and feels. Once nice thing about doing this over a Keurig is that I can leave the last bit of coffee in the carafe that usually has the heavier particles in it. The gooseneck kettle is definitely my favorite part. Seems to be well made and pours very well. It pours fast enough if you want it to, and slow enough to do drips at a time. You can watch YouTube videos on what people think is the best way to pour. I like to do it slowly and move it around to make sure all the grounds get equally covered. I love the thermometer on it. It allows me to stop the heat right before it gets to the boiling point and/or hot enough to where I can start drinking it without having to wait for it to cool down. One thing to note is that if you fill up the kettle to the top, and pour the water directly into the carafe, it will measure up to the top line. But in reality, if you pour over the coffee, a lot of water is lost in the coffee grinds and from the steam. So, you cannot really fill it to the top of the carafe. Luckily, I don’t need that much coffee at one go and so it is not an issue for me. I’m sure if they did make the kettle big enough to fill that much at one go, then it would be much heavier and not as easy to use.

Great Set For Pour Over Coffees

I love coffee and I used to work in a coffee shop. I always loved the idea of getting a pour-over for coffee because it's a great device to get the most flavor from the coffee beans. I have never seen such a huge version of a pour-over due to the fact most pour-overs are used for a single cup of coffee. I do have to say, I am so glad I got this kit because it is amazing. First, you get everything you need to pour over other than a grinder for your coffee beans. I love the kettle that comes in this set because it tells you exactly how hot to make something depending on what you're doing it for. The pour-over itself is super easy to use and I love that they used a reusable mesh coffee filter that way you don't have to buy any yourself and it makes less waste. Once you grind your coffee to the correct consistency, it's pretty much easy to do the next steps. My favorite thing to do during a pour-over is to bloom the coffee first and go slowly and make sure you're covering all the coffee grounds. The flavor that this pour-over produced is amazing! I was afraid that it being so big, the coffee would dilute too much but it didn't. Overall, this is a great set for pour-over coffee and the price is amazing for everything you're getting in this set. I would highly recommend this set for someone trying our pour-over or if you just love coffee.

Perfect pour over cup of coffee

My hubby and I are fairly new to using the ‘pour over’ method and decided to order this set up to get us started. First of all, we absolutely love the ease of use. Everything is neatly packed and boxed separately and each item is made very well and looks fantastic in the kitchen Our pour over morning coffee is sooo good that we’ll never ever go back to traditional coffee makers again! This is the way to go!

Not for a quick cup of coffee

For someone that already knows that they like pour over coffee, this would be nice, I guess. I did not care for it. The coffee was way too strong and there was a lot of sludge in the bottom of my cup. It seems too much work and the carafe is large so would have to be when company is here. The coffee won’t stay warm. The kettle is nice for regulating the temperature of the milk or water if that is important to you. I will stick with my one cup at a time coffee maker that uses individual pods.
